And to think back in the day thats how they started cycles. Back then they called it pyramid cycle. Pyramid up then back down. We were also in our 20s and didnt know better. The 90s when we didnt have the information we have now. Back before these mouthy youngsters were even thought of
 
At 18 your body has all the hormones it needs to grow like crazy if you give it the stimulus, nutrition, and rest that it requires.

Lift 4-5 days a week with high intensity, focusing on the big compound lifts, taking your sets to failure or close to it with good technique.

Learn to track your macros (there are several apps out there for this, it's easier than it's ever been) so you make sure you're eating enough and getting a good enough macro balance.

Sleep 7-8 hours every night, this one is non-negotiables, all your growth actually happens in deep sleep after the correct stimulus and nutrition are provided.

Limit the partying, yes you're 18 and you're gonna do dumb shit for a while but booze and drugs absolutely demolish gains.

Do all of that for the next 10+ years then come back and ask questions, but until you master the foundations and progress as far as you can naturally then none of these compounds are going to help you and will likely just fuck you up and set you back.
 
Yeah that all sounds nice, and you and I know thats the best way to do this. Take yourself back to when you wanted to start. No one was going to talk you out of it. Your mind was made up. You wanted to hop on gear. And what happened even after the older kats around you tried telling you not to...? You hopped on anyway. So, not only did we not listen but these younger kids today really dont listen.

The one piece of advice I'd throw in for you is this, stay away from tren for a good long while.

I actually stayed away from everything including test and hgh until I was 41, many years into my fitness and lifting arch. My plan was to stay fully natty forever or at least for as long as I possibly could, but when I felt myself plateau and my bloodwork showed rather low test and free t levels I dipped my toe in and I'm happy I did. But again, years of foundation building in the gym, on the bike, in the water, and in the kitchen before I even got here. Everything I said above, I had all of that dialed first and it was dialed for years before even considering this side of it. That's what people need to do if they want the best results.
 
Also the vast majority of everyone here who don't feed their families with IFBB Pro sponsorship and prize money should want to actually be healthier, not just look jacked. I want as many good years as possible with my family.

When I started at 23 it was a shit show. We shoved anything we could into our bodies back then. Yeah we had some really powerful gear, then we had bunk. It was a crap shoot. No telling what we were shooting. Not to mention we also slammed methamphetamine. Many of good times but also paying the price today for some of my decisions back then. Now its about being healthy and mindful, as you stated above. It isnt about being the biggest anymore, its about being the healthiest i can be.
 
My first cycle was bath tub tren and Primobolan. One of my friends told me to try it so I did. I knew nothing about it. Didn't have the internet back then. Didnt have the forums. Didnt even have cell phones. We went off what we were told.

Haha yeah I'm definitely happy I waited until my frontal cortex was fully developed and I could make informed, rational, sustainable decisions about this stuff. Then again the stuff I spent my 20s and part of my 30s actually doing was arguably way worse so I probably woulda been better of blasting random gym juice lol

It's so true though, I've learned sooo much here from people with actual experience who aren't afraid to tell you that you're dumb and you don't need what you think you need lol.
