My 2 cents... I stopped watching news or listening to it on the radio. Fox saying the same thing, CNN, PMSMBC, ABC, CBS all saying the same thing. Trump lives in their heads rent free. This TDS seems to be a real thing. Anyway...
I can say I voted for him. I couldn't deal with the cackler and more behind the scenes masters pulling strings of these puppets.
Seems Trump is no better. Also realize, there are people at the table who are making the decisions, not Trump. He just seems to do what they say.
For example, the Israel thing. I am an ex-biblical scholar. There is not biblical evidence to keep doing what Israel wants. Simply, there is a biblical Israel, and then there's the current government of Israel. Two different things. Biblical Israel has nothing to do with todays Israel. Politician's who keep saying we must protect them because its a biblical mandate, need to stay in their lane, they don't know what they are talking about. The US Gov needs to cut ties with Israel, period!
We get into this thing with Iran and we blow some things up but we are giving them like 40% of what we could. Then we stop... What is that about? Is it no wonder they are not afraid of the USA? We go soft on them. We didn't on Iraq or Afganistan or Japan. If we are going to start it, then go in and put the boot to their neck and choke them out! My guess, that approach would get a different response from Iran. But, American gov has lost their edge. I get it we shouldn't even be over there, its all for Israel.
But this soft stance to begin a war and go soft was the wrong approach. Either don't do it at all or do it right the first time. Guys, this is not a deal they made with Trump. Like I said, I voted for Trump, but he looks like a fool with this "deal"/agreement. Which they will not abide by. Then they get 300 billion dollars? Seems to me, they got it good.
Meanwhile, over here in the USA, we have been getting screwed at the fuel pumps. Food, clothing, anything that needs to be transported has all gone up. Because diesel is more expensive than regular gas, even though it's not refined. So we are getting screwed over here. Trump even said we will give them help to rebuild.
What? We destroy their country and now we will help them rebuild it? Shaking my head over here! I agree they can't have nuclear weapons but we sure seem determined to let that be a problem in the future by the way we are determined to support them.
I even heard Trump saying they have to have missiles to defend themselves so he's ok with them having those and restocking. Didn't Obama give them pellets of US Cash money to which we got nothing in return.
I'll never forget one of my post grad professors would always say, "If there's one thing we can learn from the past, is that we don't learn from the past. We make the same mistakes." That applies here.
At the end of the day, as many have said already, best to just do good at your job. Take care of your family, take care of your health, enjoy life as best as you can. The American Gov is just a dumpster fire, left, right, middle, its no good. They have no interest in Americans and Yes: your vote doesn't matter, it just doesn't. Try to find peace in your world, minimize stressors, control your center of influence.
Some things we just can't control, this is one. All we can literally do is shake our heads at the stupid decisions made by our government. So live life, be faithful to God, do good to your health, and be a great husband, father, son, and associate at work. Keep grabbing the Iron and lift it up.
