Hello everyone,

I’m about 5 weeks into my trt experience and I’m hoping to get some insights from those of you who have already been through this journey. My main concern is understanding the timeline and nature of any negative side effects you experienced.

Specifically, I’d love to know:

1. Onset of Side Effects:

- How soon after beginning TRT did you start to notice any negative side effects?

- Were there any immediate effects within the first few days or weeks, or did they develop over a longer period?

2. Types of Side Effects:

- What kinds of side effects did you experience? (e.g., acne, mood swings, hair loss, changes in libido, cardiovascular issues, etc.)
- Were these side effects mild, moderate, or severe?

3. Duration and Management:

- Did the side effects persist, or did they subside over time?
- Were any adjustments needed in your treatment plan to manage these side effects? If so, what changes were made (e.g., dosage adjustments, additional medications)?
- Did you find any strategies or lifestyle changes that helped mitigate the side effects?

I generally have been feeling good since starting but haven’t seen many negatives yet and am wondering when I can expect them to start popping up. Really the only thing I’ve noticed is I sweat now. I never used to sweat, even working out, but now I’m drenched.

I’m on 200 a week Test E.

Thank you so much for your time and help!

I started TRT a few years ago and had no experience with test or any aas or anything before that. I started at 200mg/week of Test Cyp. It took about 8 weeks before I noticed any real effects positive or negative. I probably thought I was feeling it earlier but around week 8 is when I really noticed strength increases and some confidence/aggressiveness. A couple of weeks after that I started to get water retention and some acne. I dropped my dose to 150 mg/week and that eventually got rid of any negatvie sides I was having. Of course it lowered some of the benefits too but it was a happy medium. I also have never touched an AI drug. I also had too much body fat at that point. I definitely wasn't obese but not lean eithter. My diet and work outs were definitely not dialed in then at all. So your experience may be completely different based on all of those factors but that's how it went for me.

True TRT is a replacement dose. It’s replacing what your body once produced on its own.

What “side effects” did you experience during puberty? Did those “side effects” persist as you got older into your 20s and 30s?

The only thing to keep an eye on is hematocrit, which shouldn’t really be much of an issue either.

Honestly at a low dose like that of true trt you might not experience any negative side effects at all.

Ive never had any negative sides on test. Im running 700mg right now and still no negatives. Bloodwork looks good, estrogen is in range thanks to primo.

When I hopped on TRT at 200mg/week I noticed some water weight gain but that was about it and that fizzled away once my body started to adjust. Took me probably 2 weeks before I was sleeping better, morning wood, and horny again.

I’m much more level headed than I was with low T. Just get regular bloodwork done and you’ll be fine

Under 200/week IME experience most don't have negative sides.
I was on testogel for years that brought my test level to 1100 with 0 sides.

Depending on your genetics maybe you will have a slight rise in e2. Other than that you should be feeling like a man again 💪🏼

More honestly you totally can.

I got my first set of bitch tit's on 250mg test a week.

You can get all kinds of issues on that dosage, if you're fat and bloated and high blood pressure and the diet is crap, you'll get issue pretty soon on that dosage.

I know nowadays the kids start first cyclesnonn500mg test a week, but that's mentally handicapped, test is not some weak arse steroid

Agreed. This can absolutely happen if you run gear and have no idea what youre doing by not keeping track of your bloodwork.

But Then again, you could probably get hurt with a plastic kitchen spoon if you dont know what you're doing. However, that doesn't necessarily mean everyone should eat soup with a fork.

The only side effects I experience from getting on trt was ance and that was my own fault with poor dieting

I e been on TRT for 15 years. 200mg per week. In the begging I had no sides. But a few years ago my E2 started creeping up. We dropped my weekly dosage from 200mg to 125mg and started pinning EOD, my E2 stays at the top or slightly above the reference range

When running a cycle I use primo to keep my E2 on check
