If you like pasta check out Barilla Plus... its made from barley, smelt, chickpeas, ect.... its high complex carbs/protein and fiber. Plus it tastes just like regular pasta, in fact I prefer the flavor!
^^^ This. I use this pasta when I am dying for a pasta dish. It is in fact a better flavor in my opinion. Less starchy flavor on my pallet also.
i highly recommend quinoa it taste great, its a complete protein, high in fiber and good carbs. other vitamins too.
