Having trouble getting prescribed through insurance ...

Okay so i definitely got the requirements but all doctors willing to prescribe me don't take any insurance at all which is crazy to me. How are some of yall paying like 10-15/month for everything including labs?

I switched from a clinic to sources here and pay less then $15/mo when I'm using just test c at trt dose. Getting approved through dr and insurance where I live is nearly impossible. They want you to be below 200 total test or some crazy number and then they'll usually only prescribe gels or creams and maybe they'll give you injectable if you can prove the first option isn't working well after a year. And my endo takes about 6 months to get an appointment so it's not worth playing those games to me

So like 140 bucks for 5ml.
I been using basically anyone on here like sunrise, Dutch, platinum and sb.
Hell I pay 35 dollars for twice amount. 10ml bottles through Dutch. They all give same results as prescription. How the heck you been on the boards a while and not know this. If you can’t afford to pay 30-50 bucks for a bottle that will last you 10 weeks on trt, then you probably need to put your hands at a new line of work my friemd

My insurance is Kaiser. They require me to do blood work every 6 months and thats it. All covered.

What was offensive about the comment though bro? A 2 month supply of trt is cheaper than going for a steak dinner and a drink at the steak house. You cant afford that, you got problems. TRT is more important than ssteak dinner.

If your PCP won't prescribe you T then change your PCP.

I just ask my family Doc to check my Test levels and see if I can get an Rx for it during my annual physicals. He draws my blood at that time, so it’s a natural discussion we have. I also get him to test my PSA levels too (family history of prostate cancer). He gets me 200mg weekly Test Cyp which costs me about $50 for 10 weeks). It’s barely enough to keep me on the spectrum (300-1000), but it’s a start. Then I supplement with my Rx through a sponsored source here on ASF.

The issue is not all of them are actually intelligent and may dose you wrong. I have seen a Yale Endo prescribe Test E at 75mgs e3 weeks.

I have been there with a urologist. Its the same story if your regular Dr prescribes it. Either one will only prescribe it if you meet the government criteria below 300. Even then, you will not get what you are looking for. They will ONLY prescribe a small necessary amount to get you above that 300 threshold. You want to pay out of pocket for prescribed test and be at high end normal 800-1000, you will have to go through TRT online or any of these TRT facilities. Been there and dropped all that and use UGL

I went to see this young Asian endocrinologist, not saying anything bad about Asians, but check this. Oh this was over 2 years ago. Anyways, he’s like I’m always on the bodybuilding boards and from you experience taking so much gear your whole life I want to learn from you. But then one day try to get you off TRT. I said well I’m never coming off TRT, I have a UROLOGIST for that, I’m here for HGH. He’s like, welli don’t prescribe HRT with HGH. And for me that was that. Moral of the story is, like WESLEY PIPES said ENDO and UROLOGIST all day everyday will prescribe. Fuck regular doctors , they don’t like it and are pussies

Have numbers like this every single time guys...even once you have a script. (These are mine) The second you show them you're at 1000 nanos is the second they try to take the script away and change it.

The second you are in a healthy range they try to decrease it...trust me .I've had a script 24 years and worked with hundreds of doctors. 90% of them are useless and uneducated when it comes to HRT. This forum knows more then most doctors do.

Straight facts bro. I stopped seeing my endocrinologist about my trt. It's easier and cheaper to run my own labs and buy from our sources here. IMO no need for a script, live life your way, monitor your bloodwork. The boards and AI knows more than drs now a days anyway.

I'm in a custody battle for my kids so the script is key. Also for guys on parole or probation or jobs like police officer etc

For guys asking "how" , it's all about timing. Learn to time your bloodwork. Once you're established you may only need to give labs every 4-6 months. Take 2 weeks off and no shots. Or if ur on T gel, take a few days off before testing. Zero gel. Zero administration. It's very simple. And if you miss 2 weeks once or twice a year, so what. Play the game or don't.

Yep it's really fucked up bro. They wants to charge me 1k for labs because i didn't want the standard bullshit tests and haven't met my deductible....hellolabs I can run anything I want any maybe spend 250-300.. the system is fucked.

i think i pay 15 bucks through ins for 200 mg every other week --its not enough because they are scared of my red blood cell count---so of course i have to cheat sometimes
