I use a fence and a cow skull. Works everytime.

PS I got a late start this year and didn’t smash the nitrogen down their throats like I usually do. I did however start putting bone meal in when buds started forming. Think my fabric pots were too small for them.

Still trying to perfect my craft.

Instead of fabric. Have u tried the plastic pots with the pokey holes all around the sides. Was nice for not over watering.and they seem to get more air into the football I'd imagine. Saw my yields go up slightly with those.

Yeah I’ve always used drilled out plastic buckets but this year for some reason I wanted to try the fabric pots… i like the plastic buckets better so far… might just put them right in the garden next year now that I don’t have to hide from the law up here. Used to be “copperhead road” style antics it feels weird growing it out in the open lol

How do I prune or otherwise to get fewer but longer/thicker buds ?

I remember my dad showing me a picture years ago of him growing out of an old falling down chicken coop and this thing was literally poking out the top (prolly around 7ft tall) and the buds on it were like the entire shoot.

Yeah next season I’m gonna pay more attention to them. Poke a hole through some garden cloth and put them right in the ground. Gonna burn off the overgrowth with a torch and till in some year old chicken shit in the garden here in a few weeks and cover it as soon as the snow melts this spring and down select my veggies and just line the ganja in a row and prune them up.

I’ve let my peach trees get too many branches too. I’m always afraid of over doing it and not getting a good harvest so now theirs tons of overcrowding. Gonna make it look like a stick figure this winter see if that helps.

Experiment with a few of them, that's how I learned when I 1st started growing in probably 1995.

Lollipop your plants when they flower and you’ll grow big colas.

I found if I jam bamboo rods in as support early on and keep em clipped to it loosely.the stalk doesn't need to focus on strength to support the weight n can focus more energy to the flower. Some of that recharge supplement seemed to give me some boost to. I liked that shit.well the girls did.

All supplements can be broken down to specific nutrients. Potassium Silicate helps plants develop stronger stems and more erect leaves. This in turn supports bigger cola production.

I use to fuck em up... its a scary thing to do but its easy once you get the hang of it..
When they are Vegging, I take all the stems, squeeze them gently so you can hear it " crack or pop" under your fingers, then you can train them by bending them down and the insides will sprout new colas. Indoors under 2kw lights I could yield almost a pound per plant and it didnt grow no taller than 3' but a shit ton of colas.
It looked more like a bonzai tree than a pot plant until it started budding..... There is a name for the way I use to grow, but I forget.

Sea of Green SAG, effective way to increase yields especially in a small area.
 
It was like that but I didnt use a trellis.... The canopy was perfect tjhe few rimes I ran that strain.

The trellis is SCROG but it’s the same principle. I snap stems a tuck them under the to widen like you, it just involves a net. It’s amazing how well they respond, you’d think it would kill a branch.
