GH CTS question

Curious about people’s experience with GH and overcoming carpal tunnel syndrome.

If you got CTS while using GH, did you titrate down or stop outright? If you stopped, did you wait until there were zero symptoms of CTS to add it back or start back slowly when they’re mostly gone?

I got CTS in my left hand and stopped for a bit over a month now. Symptoms are mostly gone (v slight residual numbness in tip of thumb, pointer and tiny bit of middle fingertip) but not sure if I should start back at v low dose (1unit) now or wait for the symptoms to completely resolve

For those who started, had to stop and then reintroduced it, how did you do so?

Thanks all
McP

For people who get it I’d look at these things first

Most important: bodyfat %, diet, fluid/electrolyte intake, and cardio

Less important but still worth considering: taurine, ALA, natural diuretics (dandelion root)

Undoubtedly effective but very context and user dependent: ARBs (telmisartan etc), non k sparking diuretics (Hctz)

Curious about when and how to start back, more so than ways to treat the CTS proper (but thanks for the list - good info).

Has anyone gone off GH because of CTS and then started back? If so, how’d you do it (how’d you decide to start again and what protocol did u use starting back)?

I’ve only stopped once due to the hands. It was with QSC 100iu kits from back in the day. Just became unbearable during the night. I got up to 20iu daily at some point, but I think the hand issues was before I cranked it up that high. Maybe 10iu or under I had the tingles bad. At 20iu I got a ton of water retention and high BP, so I bailed on GH completely for a while.

I’ve re introduced it many times, I usually stop due to cost these days as I don’t really have issues with my hands anymore. Always started back up at 2iu or 3iu and worked up again. Just recently restarted it at 5iu and no issues.

I’ve always thought it’s maybe the GH itself? The specific batch from whichever vendor and what’s in it? Only QSCs gave me these issues at least at that level. I’ve had it sporadically on high doses, medium doses since, but a come and go situation very subtle. I couldn’t grip on QSCs.

That’s just speculation, they say it’s water retention around the nerves of your hands that cause this.

Dandelion root (natural diuretic) worked well for me.
