I get up at 5A every week day for work. It takes me a bit to roll out of bed, take some coffee and get going. I'm wanting to start my lifting in the morning before work so I can get some stuff done around the property after work. Plus you never know who might show up or what my wife or daughter may have planned for me. Im not much a caffeine person other than the coffee first thing. Im a person of habit and go to bed around 9 most every week night. How do some of you others do it?

Just raw dog it.

Get your ass up and make it happen.

Think about how comfortable and cushy you are in that bed. Then think if that’s feeling seems like something that makes you harder.

Rest is obviously needed, but if that’s the only time you can work out you make it happen. No questions asked.

i work out at 3am and 4am. just got used to it.
i have no choice really as well so I just do it every fucking day.
kids wife work afterschool activities, plus i coach kids wrestling in the afternoons.
i end up losing about an hour on somedays with them, since i go to bed around 8sih but would lose way more if i worked out in the evening.
I drink coffee first thing however and preworkout lol.

i always tell my kids that you either want something or you dont.
if youre thirsty you get water, hungry get food, no food in pantry? go to store.
sick you go to doctor etc.

if you really want it youll find a way!

ps
early am training is the best!

Work starts at 7. I get up at 3:30, half cup of coffee and mix up my intra workout and pre workout. Feed the dogs and at the gym by 4:30. I’ve been doing it for so long, it’s just habit now. Rest days are “usually” Wednesday and Saturday and I’ll sleep in until 4:30 those days.

Only advice I have is dont hit snooze.

This right here. Make your alarm sound the most fucking obnoxious sound your phone has and bounce right outta bed. After a few weeks your body starts doing it on its own and you don’t even need the alarm. Been doing it this way for 3 years since shift work. Works like a top

Yep, same thing, last 9 years or so I got my ass up at 0400, gym 0430 work by 0630. I got to a point that sleep is more important to get any results than getting up early. Miss getting it out of the way first thing though.

I get up at anywhere from 2 to 3 AM. I drink a few coffee's, do a little work. Do 20-30 mins of treadmill at like 4:30 AM.
Then I train at like 5:30 AM.

Im in bed around 7 PM though. Since I dont party anymore or go out much at all, its pretty easy...

Woke up at 430 on vacation to get a FB lift in at the community gym. Been sitting in my golf cart for an hour texting the owner bc the key pad is dead and I can't open the door.

Honestly? I just wake up. It’s fucking weird.

I was getting up at 7am everyday (forcing myself to sleep at 11) and after about 2 weeks I found I would wake up naturally around 645.

Then a few weeks ago I decided to get up at 550 every morning to hit some fasted cardio before everyone wakes up. After about a week or so I started waking up at 530 without issue.

I did start taking magnesium Threonate regularly which probably helped with getting more restful sleep…and now that I’ve added in GH, pretty much any sleep is 1000x more restful lol

Habit and desire. for me, if I really want to do something it’s because mentally I said I do. Either go all in or don’t.

Start at 8am, then 7am, then 6am then 5am. Boom, it’ll be cool.

I’ve been getting up at 230-330am to train during the week for years. I have adhd like a mother fucker so my alarm goes off and I’m ready to go like I wasn’t even sleeping lol I think it’s just something I gatta start doing and get your body to adjust to it. I don’t drink coffee until after the gym.
