I'm assuming some of y'all have dealt with court before.

In my case it's numerous felonies and even though it's pending, they show up on my background check.

I'm able to find work with temp agencies, but any permanent job denies me automatically.

What have you guys done in this situation?

Your best route for the long run is this…if you’re found guilty of the felonies, find an attorney that specializes in expungements. They will explain to you the cost and all the details of getting it done. Save the money and get them expunged, then keep your ass out of trouble. Once they’re expunged you won’t have to tell an employer about the expungement except for certain government jobs or if you’re wanting to be a cop.

My friend I can't stress this enough. GO SELL CARS
Not only will they hire anybody with a heartbeat, you can change your life doing it.

the only thing- for obvious reasons- they wont put up with is a DUI, but even still, theres a chance at some mom & pop dealers.

I ranked #42 in my city to become a police officer, but failed out because of my background.

I could look into this, no DUIs

Do it. Even if you suck you'll make 60- 70K. Top sales is 150K+
find a volume store, toyota, Ford, Honda, kia, hyundai. what ever is a bigger store in your area.
Stay away from Luxury - for now- they typically want experience.
Learn the ropes, learn how to get a commitment to buy today and you will do fine.

Real Estate is best the way to making money in sales as well as opening your mind up to creating real wealth, passive income, with very nice tax advantages. If I remember correctly real estate used to create 80-90% of American millionaires

or like others suggested sell cars starting tomorrow if you need cash asap since real estate will take some time, organization, discipline and about 6 weeks online to get licensed

I can type fast and run a chainsaw
bro, then get on all your neighborhood apps and run the chainsaw ad, you can make solid cash daily especially if you have a truck to haul off the debris or can rent a trailer if no truck. Dumping limbs is free in most areas

I use tree services yearly on different properties and my tree guy makes good money man. Tuesday, this week I paid him $850 to remove one large weed/tree that grew out of control last year over the roof and He manicured a live oak very nicely. That is investor pricing, a standard homeowner would had paid $15-1700 for the exact same work, it took two days, one to trim the live oak and one to take down the tree, he did have 3 other men with the tree removal

Thats a respectable pay day and working with your hands pays internal dividends that data entry will never pay you, I'm not talking money

I got 2 felonies for distribution and intent to distribute, it took me long time to find a job, I got turned down everywhere and idk how but I got hired at USPS a federal job with great benefits and good pay, USPS will hire anyone right now with the holidays coming up, there bunch of different positions, they don’t post on job sites I’ve never seen it I just went on uspscareers and applied, it takes about 30 days to get fully hired but after you pass your 90 day probation period, you have a job for life , only way to get fired is steal or fighting that’s it, it’s worth a shot

USPS hiring someone with distribution charges is wild.

I'll check them out though, I did apply previously but had no response.

Are you likely to be doing prison time? If so, trying behave in there while also staying alive should be your top priority.
Hopefully, you can put that time to good use and maybe learn a trade. There are companies that are willing to give ex-cons a chance as long as you convince them you’ve cleaned up your act. The most effective way to do that is to actually clean up your act…

One thing I won’t do is hire someone to work at my house who doesn’t have the proper insurance. When you hire a tree removal company you have to look what type of insurance they have and that it covers tree removal.

Because if they get hurt or fuck something up on your property or someone else’s property, guess who’s paying.

Since she really don’t have any skills, I would tell you to go look at construction work. I don’t know where you are, but many of our jobs laborers make up to $50 an hour.

If your a good handyman, Nextdoor is an option or taskrabbit.

I agree.

I carry a multi million dollar umbrella policy for reasons exactly like you are speaking of.

it’s so easy to fabricate docs proving insurance. You need to to have your own 100% of the time CYA brother

I’ve been sued more than few times

There really looking for the violent offenders.

Felons end up working for themselves, opening a store, selling used cars
opening an gym, training people ETC.
Just find what you passion is... do all the studying on whatever you choose to do. Make money doing what you love, it will never be a JOB.
And if you need to take out a biz loan... DO IT!!!!
Trust me . I took out a high 6 figure biz loan out and had no idea how I was going to pay for it. Somehow, it just works out.
Never in a ZILLION years did I think I could become successful doing
what I love to do. NEVER. NEVER NEVER.
I thought my life was over.

codem.... Sounds like you can write code?

@Bolan congratulations brother! I love to read a success story like yours!

Back in 2004, I left a great paying corporate B2B sales job with benefits, insurance, the whole nine yards so much PTO it was like having 2nd vacation time haha , I would have been set for life, except I saw the old guys and how they all looked like the walking dead and I decided no, not for me,

I risked it all and took a low salary high commission job selling recreational toys
Motorcycles to boats, etc… not exactly a great career on paper but God blessed my hands and I set year after year of record breaking sales buying houses with the money … I kept many of them and today my passive income has provided a very nice life since 2011,
Since It happened for me, it can happen for anyone. I was in and out of jail as a youth and have no formal education.
It’s me and God and my investment company we started back in June 2010 so in 1 year God blessed my hands enough to replace my income and then some.

You got this brother 💪🏼 discipline, hard work always pay dividends and timing is of the essence for both
