Pretty sure a felon can't get a commission but I get the political statement.

And it IS Arkansas. I wonder how much more there is to this story. Like was his daughter "dating" the old dude? I am not condoning anything but culturally, things are different there. I see that age of consent is 16 but I wonder if that was always the case?

I hate all the piece meal feeding of information we get from the MM to elicit an intended result.

He's out on bond according to that article, not a felon at this point. I'm assuming he has a clean record as of now.

He's a man of action, he'd get my vote.
 
A lot to unpack here. Law enforcement is definitely pretty fucked and the system is definitely broke in a lot of ways that stop LE from being able to do police work and stop violent criminals. He’s right about that.

I support what the dude did and in his shoes I would probably have done the same thing. But at the end of the day, it was vigilante justice and murder. Justified or not.

The right answer is somewhere in the middle. Cops should neither have their hands tied behind their back — nor should they be vigilantes. So for that reason, he’s probably not the right guy for the job.

The other thing to think about is how fucked the courts and jail procedures are. The pedo he murdered should have been in jail, not out on bond. If we actually kept violent criminals in jail while they waited for their court case, this never would have happened. But with those rules, this dude would also not be able to be out on bond running for sheriff.

From a purely legal standpoint point rape is not a capital offense, even child rape. There’s not a state in this country that has a death penalty for it.
Dad will likely be convicted of some crime for what he did.

Moral or not.

There is more to this case. I just read Aaron Spencer’s appeal to lift the gag order. It was in place to keep the jury pool viable. In his petition it is disclosed the daughter left the house to go with Fosler and put a hoodie on a stuffed animal to hide the fact she was gone. Fosler had already been arrested for raping this 14year old and had a restraining order on him from contact with this girl.

She ran off with him.

None of us would choose a 14 year old. It's a kid.

The temptation of sex w a child ,if it exists, comes w punishment. Temptation removed, there is no reason a man should have sex w a 14 year old.

A 14 year old can make a biased decision to have sex w a grown adult. The adult is required to abide by law.

Do we grant a man leniency for having consentual sex w a 5 year old, a 10 year old. A 14 year old?

The answer is no. The law exists for reason.

I suspected as much. It doesn't negate the fact that the dude, whether "true love" or not should have been a better person and known better. It is predatory with that age delta.
But....Arkansas....

There is an aspect of this that I feel might be a bit of the father being ashamed of his inability to keep this from happening due to his inability to properly parent. It is also possible that she was already hip to the sex thing from being schooled at home.
I dunno....
But generally I prefer to avoid all of this dark shit.
I got enough on my plate.

The desire for sexual interaction with a child is from Satan.

A man shall not be attracted to a child.

But in this life it happens.

Men desire to take the innocence of a child. It's power. It's not sexual.

This is evil versus good.

Men see a 5 year old or a ten year old and seek to destroy innocence

This is evil.

They don't seek physical sex with a child. A child can't reciprocate. A child is a victim.

This is no difference why serial killers murder innocent victims.

We are at spiritual war.

Good versus evil.

It's right in your face. You just deny it exists friends.

Absolutely, it’s a crime, that’s why he was arrested. Two years later when she’s 16 it’s legal. Arkansas citizens voted for this law.

Also I live in the Great state of ar just recently we also had a dad come home from work to walk in on his son fucking his mom drunk while the other brother was asleep on the floor
