So cleaning out my closet. I found a stash of Tren E sealed unopened and 2 bottles of Tren A 1 opened and 1 un opened. Probably from around 2016. It was a vendor on here at the time. Any chance it’s still ok? Or smash and trash it.

I found some gear for in the stash that was over ten years old. Was probably fine but I tossed it to be safe. I was fine without it that long.

If it fell over and was stored on it's side for long enough, I wouldn't use it on the chance the solvents could've affected the rubber stopper.

I have bottles from 7 years ago that I used last prep. I didn't die, I don't think. :)

If there is a mushroom growing on top of the oil, toss it.

But since it was no doubt made in a clean room under aseptic conditions, it should still be sterile, right?;)

Depends on the lab, there were a few shady ones back then.

Dying to know who it was.

As long as the oil hasn't gone rancid and bacteria hasn't grown in it, it's good. They will lose a small percentage of potency over time but will still work. You might just have to take a little more to get the same dose. So stored upright to avoid the solvents eating the stopper as mentioned above, and in a dark place with a steady temperature around 70ish and they will last years.
Most experation dates are guesses to keep us buying fresh drugs every so often. The same with most foods. If it's not rotten it doesn't matter what the expiration date says.

The military tested this with 30 year old prescriptions and they were fine. They even keep stocks of old drugs to save money. Now since the sanitation of gear can be questionable, only buy from labs that have a good track record of sterile gear with lots of customers that haven't got infected and you should be good. Personally I'd try it. Take about 0.1ml and inject it subcutaneously in a spot you don't mind getting cut open if it comes to it, and watch for signs of infection for a few days. If nothing shows up try a little more and repeat. Then you should be good. The opened one would be more likely to have bacteria growing in it since you introduce some from the air you replace the oil with. But the alcohol should keep that at bay in theory. Of course for only 2 bottles, if you're worried about it, just chuck it. You're not saving enough money to make it worth the stress imho. Would be a good test to see if the theory holds up though.

We’ve had this question come up before and I’ve even asked a source about it. Tren does oxidize and for the risk of three vials I’d pass. That’s a good bit more than 2-3 years and gear is pretty affordable.

Good to know.

People love to throw around this term "oxidize".
MCT oils are saturated fats, meaning there is no open spots on all the carbons to pick up an oxygen atom to replace what would be a missing hydrogen atom. This is unlike a mono or polyunsaturated fat which can easily pick up an oxygen to replace the missing hydrogen on the carbons.
Way too much to this and it really doesn't matter.
Steroids in MCT shouldn't go "rancid" or I guess what guys are calling "oxidize". Especially in a colored vial or even a clear on kept in the dark. Even polyunsaturated carrier oil shouldn't be oxidizing in a sealed vial, with the only air/atmosphere/oxygen being in the head space.

I will say that some of these oils do degrade. I was looking at some samples of stuff I made in GSO 6 years ago (I keep a sample of all batches) and they were pretty thick now. Not exactly like honey but definitely viscous.

I used to do the old Finaplex conversions and I had 50ml vials that were 5-6 years old that were still perfectly good.

Mine are a bit more than 6 yrs. Always kept in a box. I do t see any difference from when I got them. Still nice and golden.
