Hi all! I am looking for some advice on steroid cycles for distance runners. I am by no means an elite distance runner but I am training for half marathon distances. Specifically, I am running a half marathon in two weeks and following the race, I will begin training for another half marathon at a much faster pace about 13 weeks later. I ended a test e and anavar cycle this past winter which went really well (really well-- I was incredibly impressed with the anavar).
I will likely run test e again for 10 or 11 weeks. I worry about using anavar for longer distances because of the leg pump. Are there any other orals you would recommend that would be good for half marathon training (along with my typical body building regimen as well). This may sound silly to some, but given my experience with dbol, I am strongly considering running it for 4-5 weeks just to kick start (my distance won't be too long at that point so I think any pump can be manageable). I know it may seem a bit counterproductive but there is just so much power to be gained from dbol and I feel like it would be the boost I need to get my pace to where I want it to be. Then I let the test e take over and push through my training at longer distances.
My goals here are about running performance and not body building. I've always used test e as my base and my body responds well to dbol.
I am currently 6'3", 212 lbs, and in the ball park of 16% body fat.
