Seems like yesterday I was 40..
Don't really feel that old..!!
Not that it's going to change much..
I have had to adjust my lifts..
Body started changing around 45..and about every 5 yrs after that..
I've had to change to volume instead of heavy all of the Time..omitting certain exercises that cause pain..and using more band work..
Diet has been adjusted..can't get away with junk food, alcohol and sugars..
Still try to Max one body part a month, if I feel I can..
Numbers and PM's..days have been over since 50..

Main Approach
Listening to my Body.
Never push thru the pain..instead stopping anything that causes pain..
Super Sets and Drop Sets..
Eating for better health..
Trying new supplements, like Black Cumin Seed Oil..Methylene Blue..
Enjoying Life's little pleasures.
Monthly Bloodwork
Not using harsh compounds..maybe..lol
Not caring about my weight..Just caring more about how I look and feel..

Taking off every January..can't take all the New Year's crowds..
Avoiding things that piss me Off...

Speeding more time with my new Beast..Yoshi..

Main thing is listen to our body and what its trying to tell us..
Also trying not to get obsessed over things,viaceral fat,etc,etc .
Arent many grandpops that could hang with us. Lol..
I actually am ready to welcome 60 with open arms baby!!!

Turning 60 in June.. You're right, 40 to 60 just pissed by, like it feels literally like 8 yrs ago... Odd.
Adjusting is right, cant really bench these days, right shoulder basically hanging on by threads (doc's words).
Still DL and squatting 5 plates, but feeling it more these days (getting harder to recover).

all is good as long as I can train im happy.... (I can do JM Press and Nose Breakers still in place of bench, so its something).

It's sad..I loved behind the Neck MP's..Upright Rows..gone forever..not with this body anymore..
At least we are still hitting it..
That's really the Only thing that matters..
Not PR's,squats or how much I bench Now..
Only, that I stay injury free and look decent..
