In typical up at 5am and lifting by 525. Don't have a ton of time to get a PWO meal in and have it really start digesting.

Usually work out fasted....but want to throw in some fast digesting carbs that I can put in my PWO shake. I've done rice crispy treats before as something. Thought about rice cakes with honey on top

Don't use the rice cakes. They are whole grain brown rice. Slower digesting.

A cream of rice would be a better option.

I would only use dextrose in an intra drank and that depends on the diet and length of the training session. If you’re eating at a surplus you should be full of glycogen the next morning unless your last meals have no or very low carbs. You just don’t deplete during sleep. If you’re in a deficit then yeah sure, but I like to actually eat my carbs when there’s really not many in the diet. Coco pebbles pre is my go to. Rice based cereal quick digestive.

Was wondering about cakes when I saw most were made from brown rice. I don't have time for the CoR.... usually eat that post workout. Love the stuff

Couldn't sleep. Worke up around 330 so decided to get have some CoR while I wait

have you tried the baby rice cereal? It is pre cooked COR. You do not need to heat or cook it, just weigh out how much you want and add it directly to a cold shake. I find it a very convenient way to add fast digesting carbs to a PWO shake.

How much iron is in it? If you are an older male on ped you may want to avoid any xtra iron.

I'm apparently at 350% Iron

Is that bad? Doesn't include multi vitamins

D-Ribose powder is sugar, and MCT powder oils are energy. Get that moving as soon as you step out of bed.

Another hack is a bowel of Cream of Wheat cereal before bed. Pure energy.

IDK if it is bad or not I eat a ton of COR and Baby rice cereal both fortified with Iron. I am in the 400-500% club. Recent bloodwork Iron and Ferritin were at optimal levels.
idk seemed high to me lol.
making my own ends up being cheaper by like alot.
makes me feel like a bodybuilder too lol

Karbolyn...... Orange flavor... has 50g carbs per scoop. All made from Potatoes, rice and corn. Great for post/intra W/O with Slin or without.
Dextrose if your going hypo (y)

my intra right now is 1 scoop Orange Karbolyn, 1 scoop Ghost Orange Cream Clear isolate, and 1 scoop of Key Nutrients coconut pineapple electrolyte powder. 👌
