I’ve had that feeling when orals mess my appetite and I’m force feeding

Or when eating chicken, especially dry chicken
I can see the appeal of those disgusting meat shakes sorta.

I cant..

I'll just maken egg whites and slurp em down

I can’t do it either. I’ve been eating lean ground turkey for maybe 3 years. It’s much easier to eat than chicken for me. At some point chicken becomes a chore. I can easily get 200g of protein from 4 ground turkey meals. I can also fill in protein if I don’t eat the meals with whey or if I need more protein. I’ll pass on the meat shakes or slurping egg whites lol

Love me some egg whites but I cook them.
I can't do the actual drinking of them.

But they are soft to eat with a spoon like yogurt.

It's hard for me to find lean turkey and I don't really like the lean ground beef as much.

I end up eating chicken alot.

I break out with whey so have been leaning on food lately.

Curious what’s your TDEE, you’re able to cut on 2500?
About 3300

Mainly due to activity levels under 2k cals I crash and stop losing weight

When I go to a more normal routine my tdee is around 2500 2700

I have much to learn, cutting for me feels like an impossible task.
Yea I was originally cutting at 1800, due to losing weight, higher androgens, gaining muscle, getting leaner, tremendous activity my tdee has gone up significantly.

That’s where I’m at now cutting at 1800, I can usually stick to it for a few days but then fall a part and make very little cut.

Sema helps. I used that to start my fitness journey. I struggled to even eat 1200. I figured it out eventually and learned which foods keep me satiated and don't really use it all anymore except for extremely low doses to manage my glucose.

Yeah I have some, I’ve used it in the past with great success but god my side effects were god awful. Tried Tirzepatide too and for some reason the Tirzepatide fucked with my sleep.

I’m probably going to give the semaglutide another shot and just deal with the sides, idk what else do at this point. Been trying to cut 35lbs for years now.

Start at .25 do not go up until sides stop. I never went over .5.

Have you tried Retatrutide yet?

I'm finally gonna break and use Sema for the first time. The hunger is getting too real on this cut.
Shit definitely works, some people get worse side effects then others. Oh and when I stopped taking it my hunger came back way worse.

I think with the right approach this time I could make it work, using it as kind of an aid for my cut not the sole contributor to my cut. Then taper off it a bit while I reverse diet at my goal weight.

I think that's what I'm going to try this time.

No I actually just learned about that recently, could give that a go too. Haven't heard too much about it.

Did you ever have any fatigue issues? My biggest problems were crazy brain fog and bad fatigue.
No side effects besides not being able to eat

gym was closed this am luckily have equipment at home and was able to get a little workout

i just spammed incline bench til it hurt.

205 x 8 finished

at the gym i usually do 225 x 5 - 8, for some reason my shit at home feels heavier.

went to bjj practice after and i got put to sleep lol, literally choked out. haha.

think im gonna do another session of bjj this afternoon, keeping my weight down with cardio. comps next week.

woke up 189.3 my weight is on point. i do have to travel several hours for the comp so really want to hang around 188 189 so i dont have any worries.

It’s literally calories in vs calories out. Find your maintenance daily calories and subtract 250 calories. Monitor your progress at the end of the week and make changes if necessary. The end. Don’t make it harder than it needs to be.

yea i forgot to mention, if youre finding your cut too difficult, your deficit might be too steep despite what you think.

250 - 500 is very manageable. it just takes extreme precision, accuracy and consistency.

Just starting this to start documenting progress a bit more. Ive done well with what ive been doing from fat to fit in about 13months.

260lbs -> 193 9% bodyfat.

During my cut phase from jan to today i went from 17 -> 9% body fat and increased my lean body mass by 8lbs, while only dropping 8lbs. good results but we can do better!

Still cutting currently for another couple of weeks.
