I’ve not been able to find much on this subject other than testosterone can possibly cause mania.
I’ve tried testosterone twice, once with dbol and the second with anavar, yes kind of stupid on my part not knowing what either compounds would do to me let alone while taking two at the same time.
My experience on test was fairly positive, with the one exception of with the dbol I was an irritable prick until one of my friends pretty much put me in my place and told me to stop being an asshole. I adjusted my anti estrogen and started paying more attention to my reactions and managed to get that under control.
The second cycle with anavar I had no noticeable issues that I was aware of.
I was diagnosed with bipolar 1 after both of these cycles, and I’m now taking a good mood stabilizer, and anti depressant. And I’ve been pretty stable since. Feels weird after a lifetime of thinking I’m some angry asshole who occasionally flips out over minor things.
I’ve noticed comments about bipolar on here but no actual explanation as to the pros vs cons. Can anyone fill me in on things I should be aware of when it comes to testosterone/aas usage while being bipolar? I had a great reaction with testosterone and want to pursue trt at some point when I can afford it as the health benefits and boost in mood was worth it, and I know at some point I will want to run a bulking cycle once I’ve lost the right bf%. What seems to be the issue with bipolar and aas/test? Other than the one issue with dianabol it was all a positive experience for me.
