Chicken breast one day after expiration

How do you guys handle expiration dates on your chicken breast? Let my chicken go one day past expiration. Actually it wasn’t even a full day after expiration. About a half day over expiration. It has been in the fridge the whole time and was never frozen.

first, rinse all your chicken, then do the smell test, you’ll know real fast if its something you want to eat haha

make sure to wash it in dawn dish soap! especially if ur using it for a southern soul food barbieque

Never had a problem with chicken but be very careful with deep fried turkey. Me, my dad and my 2nd youngest sister all got salmonella from a poorly cooked turkey 2 years ago. Believe me. You don't want that. I could've eaten concrete and it would've turned to yellow water. Couldda shit through a keyhole for a week.

I’m 42 my man. I don’t live with my mom or in her basement. I’ve had food poisoning before and wouldn’t wish that on my worst enemy.
