Looked like a neck or head shot.... sounded like a small caliber.
Still no word if he's dead or alive.

unless some quick acting vet or medical worker was able to plug that jugular I would be shocked he lived.
youd have to pinch it with your hands.
 
Very doubtful he lived thru that, I run a large hunting club for over 20yrs, seen lots of animals shot, jugular severed like that he dead in seconds. I can also see his spinal cord was severed because he went stiff, basically he was stoned or spined we call it in hunting when you severe the spinal cord like that the animal stiffens up just like that and falls over, never moves an inch, completely paralyzed, seen it many many times.
