Hi all I’m a 68 year old male , I’ve been on trt for several years , using 1 ml of test e 250 mg and .5 ml of deca 250 mg weekly for that time , feeling good , the latest blood results concern me , I’ve been slack in getting them done regularly. Testosterone level is 67, SHBG is 19, free androgen index is 352.6, free testosterone is 2294 . Thoughts, ?
am I in need of lowering dosage ? Seems so ?

Test level is 67? Typo?

I would say lower based off the 2294. Id cut that dose exactly in half it it was me in your shoes.

My HRT is similar:
40mg test cyp daily (280mg/wk)
100mg deca E5d’s. (140mg/wk)
Your total test is double the level you need but if you feel good then it’s up to you.
I’m one of those guys who go by the’feels’😀
I’m 58.

You mean E2 is 67 pg/ml, Total test is 2294 ng/dl and free test is 352 ng/dl? If so thats amazing off just 250mg/week brother... damn good... id kill to have those results lol why lower it are you having any negative sides? 9x multiplier?

Free androgen index is 352.6! Calculated Free testosterone is 3294, testosterone is 67 , shbg is 19 , all are very high except the shbg, just concerned over potential heart and organ damage at these levels ? I feel great

Are you not concerned about heart or other organ issues due to high test levels ?

Those numbers arent possible. You need to look at your results again. Free testosterone cannot be higher than total testosterone.

Your free test can't possibly be higher than your total test. You have some of those numbers mixed up.

1,932 Ngdl total test. Free test is 661 pgml those are still solid numbers and no i dont think you have anything to worry about man. If you feel good run it. A doctor would tell you to bring it down to lower than 1200ngdl for long term health. So maybe cut down to 190mg /week. I think youre good tho. My test hasn't been below 1500ngdl in 8 years lol not that im bragging im just kind of stupid

I stopped all hormones for 5 months and my test, estrogen, LH, FSH, were all non existent. I was hypersensitive and suicidal. After feeling so desolate, I have no concerns if my testosterone levels are somewhat high from the low to moderate doses I’m taking. I’m kind of afraid to go much higher though. 280mg test cyp is a good dose for me. I added the deca after a year without it. I have a host of issues, and I can barely walk. While off all hormones I lost my ability to walk without a walker. I can walk again, limited though it may be, 50 feet is my long distance max. I could easily cut the test cyp in half but I don’t really want to. 🤷‍♂️ I’m just grateful to be able to walk a little.

Ah it's in nmol not ng/dl. That makes a little more sense now. What is your blood pressure? Any negative sides? You can run your levels wherever you feel comfortable but if it's super concerning to you why not just lower your dosage until you're in a range you feel comfortable at?

Ah, you're on the other side of the pond.

Us colonials get a bit perplexed when different measurements are quoted that don't align with the measurements we are accustomed to.

That's a pretty high volume of Test to be cruising on but i totally understand your reasoning.

How is your Hematocrit doing? Have to dump blood?

Have any heart or carotid artery scans performed to see how your arteries are holding up after cruising at that level for that length of time?

Thanks so very much for all of the replies. I really understand the numbers a whole lot more now. Overall I feel great , I’m at the end of a 12 month leukaemia treatment! In total remission, didn’t miss a days work and trained all of the way through it ! Heamocrit and haemoglobin are in normal ranges , I was concerned about the shbg being so low and the affects that were mentioned about my heart , prostate etc , now I feel much more at ease , I’ll most likely split the dose into two days now

In the future just post the test results with the results and the range, how the measurement is quantified can be different for different labs.
Looks like you have been on a pretty good cycle for many years.
Given time something will likely catch up with you.
