Scrapple bro. There’s a place around me that I sware makes the best scrapple I’ve ever had. I’ve lived in PA my whole life and have never had scrapple this good. Wooh mannnn u got my mouth watering 😂
I dont think people outside of philly know what scrapple is, my mom grew up in south philly and we were just talking about my grandfather making scrapple before we took the boat out in the bay to go fishing

Shiettt. People are missing out on the porkroll ANDDDD scrapple . Taylor porkroll is my second favorite. But scrapple. Mmmm mmm. A nice 1 1/2” to 2” thick piece crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. God damnnnnn. That’s something people need to experience in their life. Also I know this is a breakfast thread but a steak sandwhich from Del Rossi is the best in Philly. There pizza is definitley #1 to me

if I have any steak leftover from dinner that usually is tomorrows breakfast, but in my opinion steak is usually the main coarse of any dish not really a side

Never seen this before lol

Don’t eat much of anything for breakfast, it’s pretty much home made yogurt and a scoop of whatever protein powder I’m using at the time, but it’s corn beef hash if I was going to.

Steak and eggs with a side of gravy w/ biscuit, mm mm mm
Gravy and biscuits are slammin too but depends on where there from or whose makin them. I find a lot of places near me are generic bullshit gravy and bisquits like from a can kinda shit

Another Broken Egg Cafe is subjectively top tier in terms of southern comfort foods. Had most of the bisc & gravy w friends parents / girlfriends parents

I like to make a lil sandwich with the biscuit and gravy and stuff steak in between. Talk about food comatose

Southern food is so good. And it’s way better in the south . I go to resuturants up here and they have southern food dishes on it and I won’t even try it lol they usually destroy the dish

Growing up it was sausage. As I've aged it's turned into bacon... Chicken fried steak is delicious but I can't remember the last time I had it... My scrapple experience wasn't good... Soggy mess of mush... Needed to be very crispy like corned beef hash...

Scapple is a regular in northern VA and Maryland. I can find it in grocery stores in NC where I live but not many restaurants have it. Liver pudding is more popular in my area.
