Alright... I searched The forms and didn't want to revive anything that was really old or that was in a subform for MARATHON, as I didn't want to be disrespectful. There was a good conversation there in 2026, but I felt it was more appropriate to place this as its own separate conversation in the general Anabolic Steroids Information form.

Here's my question:

When you draw with a needle from the vial, the needle headspace is already filled with the oil. When you draw with a vial adapter and then place the lower lock needle on the hypodermic syringe, that headspace is just air, it's empty. Do you guys fill that needle area with any additional anabolic, or do you just account for that headspace and draw a little bit of extra oil into the hypodermic syringe itself?

Thanks.

I draw with a 23g needle. Once I get my desired dose I pull some air into the syringe to clear out the oil in the needle itself before I twist it off and switch to my injection needle. From what I understand the unit graduations on the syringes (at least for the low dead space 1ml syringes I use) take into account the volume in the needle. Either way, we’re talking about such a small volume that I doubt it makes a difference in the grand scheme of things

Not being rude. But that definitely qualifies for over thinking. Are you gonna remove the seal and scrape the bottle too?

Those are all good points, but in fairness, guys, I tend to overthink everything, which is why I posted it here. I freely admit to being an over-thinker. It has its upsides and downsides. This would be one of those downsides.

I get it. I can be a little OCD about things here and there so no judgement. That just seems extreme.

I can be an over analyzer myself so I get it. No worries
