Just a tip. If I chug a whey protein shake, especially one the contains the fast acting isolate in it, I go from awake to sleepy right away. I still take either NyQuil cold/flu or a research benzo(I rotate a couple types), and I take 500mg magnesium before bed. Once I feel the NyQuil or benzo start to make me sleepy I take the magnesium and chug the protein shake( mine is a blend of whey isolate, whey concentrate, and milk isolate) then I brush my teeth and I’m out.
