All men face battles

This is a hard post for me to post to but we're family here and some times its good to be open with each other. We can always count on each other to message or even comment what has been your mental or physical battle lately ? Mine has been drinking a little more than usual I caught on to it last night. It can be. Issue fast for me I always fall in the pit
I drank way too much. I love Bourbon. But one of my best friends died at 46 and I said that won't be me! (Although I was already 59 at the time). I didn't quit drinking, what I did was get on prescription Ozempic and started working out and losing weight. After the weight drop stalled my Dr. convinced me to try Tirzepitide. What a life changer, not only did the weight lose kick up again I noticed I wasn't drinking as much. Eventually I cut out all hard alcohol, and 90% of the beer. I then realized how much the alcohol affected my sleep. I switched to Athletic Brewing non-alcoholic beer, because man I love beer. Now I rarely drink a glass of red wine with a night out dinner. I value the sleep at 61.

Give Tirz a try, it quiets more than just the food noise .

I just chatted with some one about this Im gonna look into non alcoholic beer 🍺 but I'm glad to see this from you brother it's a different and difficult path to take if you deal with addiction but the out come is more rewarding than anyone can ever imagine

WTF dude? You have to be super young, like 21 years old, judging by your posts on here. The man is talking about battling a seriously life threatening addiction. Grow the fuck up and get your shit together!

Chem, I hope you figure it out my dude. Easier said than done, but think about how absolutely fucking jacked you would be if you put all that energy into the gym and eating right. I mean fuck, you’re already huge. I’ll keep you in my thoughts bro 👊
Was planning on typing out the same thing! Like WTF!!!

Same here.
I'm 46 and have been abusing alcohol for the last 5 or 6 years.
I knew it was slowly killing me, destroying my mind, and making me fat and soft.
I have been dried out for 4 months now.
And am here to get my T levels back where they should and get myself back into fighting shape and weight.

Congratulations on making that resolution and the mental shift to get back to the best you. Do it for you. Do it for your loves. Right here for you if you need to post on what you are going through, wins, and struggles. Good ideas in this thread for tweaks to work towards the goal.
