27 g 1/2 inch needle for IM injection?

I’ve been doing 29 1/2 for every site for the past year. From what I understand as long as you keep the volume manageable (>0.7 mL for me) you can do shallow IM or even subq. The compound itself will still absorb into the body so it’s not like you’re injecting blanks if you don’t hit the muscle. As long as you reduce/prevent leakage you should be good.

I rotate delts and upper outer glute with no problem. I have psyched myself out of doing 1 inch because I’ve had a friend who destroyed a nerve doing longer glute shots.

Even if it don’t hit your muscle it will land in fat and it will release more slowly that’s all, your still getting your shot

The problem the shot is painful if it is not in the muscle especially 1cc or more ittl burn and lump until it is absorbed. When they leak back out into the skin it hurts. At least thats my experience and i have done subq oil shots they suck.

I cant do glute shots anymore... its like injecting into a block of cheese.
Scar tissue sucks.
Biceps are easy with a 1/2 or 5/8, years ago Id drive 1.5" into them but
Getting older = being more comfortable.
Calves, that's a different animal... there's only a few places I'll do and its the outer calf. Nothing behind the leg, or to close to the shin. So easy to pin there, people would be amazed.
1.5 INTO BI's
Nooooooo fuckin way !!!!!

😬

How would I know if I caused any nerve damage?

I started pinning with the 27g 1/2" in the delts and mid last week, had some tightness on the right side of my neck. I could turn it no problem, but certain other actions or raising the shoulder and could feel it. Almost pinched.

My uncertainty stems from the fact it's my not-so-good right shoulder (had 2 surgeries decades ago; 1 artho, 1 cut open.) Hands can get numb in the morning and that's been happening on and off prior to any of this, esp if I'm on either side of the shoulder.

Left shoulder not as bad, as I had hurt it earlier this year, so unsure if pinning has exacerbated anything or not.

Grip this morning when pouring coffee was not to my liking. Has since gotten better.

I went back to subq today as I had stopped since some lumps were forming. So far no lumps and wondering if I should just stick to that method.

Also upped my GH to 3IUs and have read that could also be a culprit with what I've been experiencing.

(Sorry to hijack the thread.)

Not the delt, but the first time I injected in my glute I just went right into my ass cheek and I’m almost certain I hit my sciatic nerve. My right leg hurt so bad for a few days I couldn’t even get through leg workout. Then I researched more and realized I needed to be in that upper outer quadrant lol. So it could be possible you hit something but I’m not experienced enough with the delts

Could just be irritated virgin muscle. That happened with my right quad after only using left for years on TRT. I just started using Delts too and first drew shots gave PIP until the muscle was used to it.

Shitty shoulders suck.

Can 1/2 inch needle reach muscle (in glutes) for an IM injection? My TRT clinic gives me 25 g 1 inch needles. Thanks!!
I take my daily quad shot with a 27 gauge 1/2ā€ pin. My glutes are too fat.

BPC157 and TB500 it has completely healed. YMMV.

What dosage and frequency did you use for each?

Had started using BPC, 500mgc/day, a few months ago. Seemed to help my knee (I'm a wreck) and not sure if my shoulder benefited but it wasn't that long to know for certain. Was thinking of using it again.

that's a good daily bpc dose I've seen and used. I've added in 2.5mg TB500 every other day, or at least twice a week for a few weeks as well.

For major injury type stuff, 5mg TB500 Mon/Thur, and 1mg BPC156 everyday (split so it's 500mcg morning, and 500mcg night. If you have a lot of swelling, toss in some KPV, daily, 500mcg to 1mg range, depending on severity. After first 2-3 weeks, back the TB500 dose down to 2.5mg Mon/Thur, and continue the BPC.

I ran the above for like 8 weeks post knee surgery and worked wonders. A little more sleepy during the day, normal ;)

I started with 1mg each everyday until healed. Now on Klow and the BPC/TB is 500mcg/day.

For me, 1/2" 27g for VG and vastus lateralis is no problem at all. 1" 27g in the dorsal glute though. Really depends on how much junk you've got in your trunk. Palpating the area while flexing your butt, you should be able to judge how thick the fat is on top of your glutes.
