Introduction

Hello everyone, I wanted to introduce myself properly before beginning a series of more structured logs over the coming year.

My name is Benjamin aka 19NorFan and I am a competitive physique athlete currently finishing preparation for my first NPC Men’s Physique show later this month and pending those results, a second show in September.

My goal is to earn my Pro Card and compete professionally later in 2027. Over the last 3 years, I have made bodybuilding the primary goal in life and have documented a large amount of my own process; bodyweight, nutrition, training performance, cardio, recovery, progress photos and the reasoning behind different adjustments. Rather than only posting finished stage photos, I want these logs to show the complete process: what works, what doesn't, what changes along the way are made, along with my thought process behind it.

I am also happy to announce that Syngenix Labs has selected me as a sponsored athlete. They will be supporting my upcoming training phases and in return I will be maintaining detailed logs here and sharing consistent updates on my training, nutrition, recovery and overall progress.

What This First Thread Will Cover

This opening thread will run from now through my September 2nd show.

It will be more informal than the later logs and will primarily serve as an introduction to me, my current preparation and the direction I am heading over the next year.

Updates will include:
  • Current physique and bodyweight changes
  • Training sessions and performance
  • Nutrition and meals
  • Fatigue, sleep, digestion and recovery
  • Show day updates and results
After September 2, I will close out this thread and begin a separate log for each major phase.

Planned Log Series

Phase 1: Final Contest Preparation

Now through September 2

Finishing the current season and establishing the starting point for everything that follows.

Phase 2: Post Show Rebound Phase -

Approximately five to six weeks – September 6th to October 10th

The purpose of this phase will be to capitalize on the post show rebound gains, reverse diet and restore training performance.

Phase 3: Health Phase – October 11th to November 21st

Approximately six to eight weeks, depending on recovery and laboratory results

This phase will focus on health markers, cardiovascular fitness, recovery, digestion and establishing a strong baseline before beginning the next growth phase. The health phase is also a temporary mental “break” from training and an opportunity to mentally reset or adjust bad habits to good as necessary.

Phase 4: Growth Phase – November 22nd to April 10th

Approximately 20 weeks

This will be the most detailed offseason log. I will document bodyweight, rate of gain, training progression, nutrition increases, body part priorities, recovery, health monitoring and the decisions made to keep the phase productive.

Phase 5: TBD

From here, I will assess my progress and make a decision on how to proceed with the next show and contest prep phase.

Current Starting Point

Age:
37 Years
Current phase: Contest Prep
Division: Men’s Physique
Height: 6'2" – 188CM
Current weight: 228LBS – 103.5KG
Estimated stage weight: 224LBS
Current training split: Upper, Lower, Delts/Arms, OFF, Repeat
Current cardio: 45min Fasted LISS (105-110BPM) 3x weekly, 60min LISS (120-130BPM) 6x weekly
Current calories/macros: Variable but on avarege: 280g Protein, 150g Carbs, 65g Fat

In the next few posts, I’ll post some physique progress photos from the last few years, with dates, so that you can all see the progression. Along with a general synopsis on my approach to training, nutrition and fitness as a whole.

I appreciate SyngenixLabs for the opportunity and everyone here who follows along, asks questions or provides feedback. I am looking forward to documenting the full process.

What’s your cycle plan?

My current cycle, daily doses:
62.5mg Test E
50mg Mast E
10mg Tren A

Weekly that's:
437.5mg Test E
350mg Mast E
70mg Tren A

I will run that until the end and then in the last 10 days do 50mg/day of injectable winstrol.

My rebound phase post show will be as follows, also daily doses:
130mg NPP
5-10mg Test Prop
6iu HGH

I'll do that for 5-6 weeks and then go into a health phase.

I posted this one in a different thread on here several weeks ago. This is what I look like fully carb loaded after a 2 day refeed.

My refeed macros are in the range of 350g protein, 800g carbs, 150-200g fat. Sometimes the fat is lower, in the 100g range. On those days, the carbs are closer to 1,200g for the day.

Although I prefer a higher fat refeed. The physique just looks better after, I feel and digest better.

🔥 WELCOME TO THE TEAM! 🔥

Today our team got stronger 💪🤨👍
we’re proud to welcome our sponsored athlete 19NorFan to the family.
This partnership is about more than performance it’s about commitment, discipline, and representing the values that drive us every day.

Your dedication and relentless work ethic have earned this opportunity, and we’re excited to be part of your journey.

Excellence recognizes excellence, welcome to the team bro. We’re honored to have you representing our brand. Keep inspiring others, stay hungry, and never stop chasing greatness.

I’m a big believer in taking proper breaks from gear. Not a bridge cycle, not a cruise but to really drop down to a low to moderate trt dose.

The two photos below are are about 14 weeks apart. The summer pic was one of the last days of that cycle and the “skinny” pic was one of the last days of that health phase.

I want to demo the size difference and to also emphasize that you should not be afraid of getting smaller. If for anything, take a break from gear just so it doesn’t become a part of your identity because we all have a fixed runway with AAS use. You need to live away from it too.

During these breaks, the program includes the following elements:

- Intermittent fasting (serves as a mental break from a fixed feeding schedule)

- Sometimes multiple days fasting; I’ve done as long as a 3.5 day fast.

- A good amount of daily cardio. Nothing crazy but my rhr stays in the 50-55 range, so the conditioning is there.

- I tend to avoid all stimulants, to help with sleep/recovery

- Generally clean diet but not too restrictive

- I still weight train but with more so of an emphasis on practicing form and new exercises than growth

A health phase is more than about just recovering your bloodwork to some predetermined set of numbers. It’s to give yourself a full physical and mental reset.

Here is a side by side comparison of what I look like coming out of a health phase into a growth phase. This first photo is from August 15th 2025. Weight is at about 215 pounds. The second photo is from March 15th 2026, near the conclusion of a 24 week growth phase. Weight is between 250 and 255LBS, I don't recall exactly.

Notice, I still have abs even when bulking. As a measure of good health, particularly cardiovascular and metabolic health, I believe all enhanced physique athletes should have visible abs year round, as a rule of thumb. There's other metrics too. Like your cardio really shouldn't decline much in the offseason. You should have an RHR in the 60s. Fasting blood sugar in the 80s - 90s. All of these things need to be tracked and maintained.

Arms blew up!

Arms blew up!

This was an arms and delts focused growth phase, for this first Men's Physique competition specifically. My arms are very long and the hardest to put size on out of all my body parts. I did a few things to optimize it towards arms.

One thing I tried for the first time, I did GHK-CU and then KLOW direct IM injections for localized growth and perhaps it was all placebo, but it seemed to enhance recovery. Where a really hard arm workout that would take my joints out for 2-3 days, it would only take 1 day for the soreness and inflammation to subside. This allowed me to train them at a higher frequency. I mean, I was doing curls and tri extensions anytime I felt that it wouldn't hurt the joint. Collagen consumption was off the charts and that definitely helped too.

I did this alongside HGH IM arm injections, although I am less confident that this did anything.

Interesting. I’m in the same boat. My arms are also long and hard to pack on mass. I have a 6ft wingspan 😂 I may give them a sprinkling of Klow and see what happens.

I have an 82" armspan. I just benched 225 for the first time like 2 years ago. My working weight on dumbbells is 80LBS on the high end.

I'm 100% show horse lol

What type of collagen do you like to use? I just started getting into it as well, more so for skin and hair health, but helping the joints wouldn’t hurt. I have been using a collagen protein, as well as the vital proteins collagen peptides.

I’m a fan of KLOW too! Also took that for the aesthetic benefits lol but I did notice increased recovery.

I just stocked up on this for my coming winter growth phase. Also a fan of Sports Research Marine collagen. Transparent Labs makes a good product too. Costco, iHerb and VitaminShoppe are the places to go for it.

The plus side of this is, I can deadlift 495 for 15 to 20 reps or however long it takes me my grip to fail lol

Yeah. It’s almost always the grip that ends it early
