The Gasman Files

I’m opposite I can’t see how guys get up early and go train with no food in them. I like to have atleast 3 meals in me before I train lol
I always eat before training, even at 430 am. I definitely couldn’t do that fasted. I heard of people eating a big meal night before to be “topped off” but I’m not buying it

Do pretty well with PWO, Dextrose, Rice Krispy/Banana, EAAs, then EAAs and some Formula 369 (1:1 ratio of glucose to fructose) intra workout

Took some post training shot yesterday.

Woke up at 162 fasted

Had 150g of carbs between pre/intra and 80 ounces of water

Weight in these is 166. Still work to be done but nice visual change this week is the glute line coming in on the side shot.

Back to back prep lows (161 and 160) even after bumping overall food up last week.

Cutting back the cardio to 25 minutes per session and a refeed today. Full check in tomorrow but looking like some Tren going to be thrown in as well.

Completely uncharted territory for me and really anxious to see how it’s all going to turn out.

Same protocol as last week with these shots. Improved visuals overall. After training. 150g carbs 80oz water between pre/intra.

I hit a new low the morning of these (158). After pre/intra, weight up to 162.

These are from Saturday. Woke up all time low 155.2 same deal as week before, about 160g carbs between pre/intra with 1/2 gallon water and took these after training. Weight bumped 4 pounds so I’m 159 in these.

We did back to back refeeds Saturday and Sunday. Weight didn’t budge Sunday morning to bumped the refeed carbs to 800 and the last couple days weight has stayed around 160.

Feeling good

Kurt bumped the food the other day to slow rate of loss but I still managed a new low today (154.8). According to Kurt, I’m ready and we need to stop the rate of loss and whatever incidental fat loss comes shouldn’t necessarily come from the scale.

Hitting a refeed today at 800g carbs. I had 180g of carbs between pre/intra along with 1/2 gallon water and my weight in these pics is 158.

All about refining/holding at this point. This prep has been a completely different experience from my first one. Superior conditioning and overall just feel pretty good. There’s always a moment here and there but I have to say it’s been a positive one.

Incredible! Look great!

Peeled bro! Had a feeling you’d be ready alittle early. Nice Job
Thanks bro. Yea I really wanted to make sure I had plenty of time and do this right and if I ended being early, all the better. Feels good to be in this spot regardless of the outcome.

Just under 4 weeks out. Averaging around 155 pounds. Food keeps being increased but weight still slightly dropping. Metabolism is on straight fire at this point. Still glad I chose to do a 20 week prep but in hindsight was probably not needed.

Staying that lean for that long is brutal! How are you feeling energy, fatigue, hunger wise? Cals relatively high?

Honestly I’d say pretty good overall. Definitely have moments where the energy isn’t there but it’s usually at the end of the day and I’m just relaxing anyways but when it’s time to move I’m a little slow. Training days calories are just over 3k and NTD around 2300

You’re a trooper bro! Locked in 🤘

Yea it’s definitely better for sure, just for next time I know I can shave a couple weeks off since I seem to be able to handle the aggressive cut pretty well.

Peak week update

Sorry for the lack of updates but I’ve just been locking it in and focused on the task at hand. I had been maintaining fasted weights between 154-156 over the last 6 weeks. Very depleted with the occasional refeed given if a new bodyweight low was hit.

Fortunately, we raised food to the point where that hasn’t happened in weeks. Kurt and I have played with several different amounts of carbs and water to get the look that will be best for me on stage. Currently that’s looking like 300g of carbs and a gallon of water prior to pre judging. An additional 100g of carbs and half gallon of water prior to finals pending how the look changes throughout the day.

Currently these fasted weights are just under 160. 5 days to go! Time to land the plane.

Gear stayed the same throughout the prep and he doesn’t want me pulling test or any other injections to maintain as much fullness as possible.

Another update on future plans. I initially was going to do two shows but with the way my body has been feeling and seeing how undersized I am coming in, I’m just doing the one show and start the recovery process a week earlier. I really need another couple years to fill out and add tissue and the sooner I can do that, the better.

Whatever happens on Saturday, I’m proud of the condition I’m bringing and how the overall prep went.

Great work brother, trooper staying as lean as you are for so long! Almost there man, gonna kill it!
Thank you bro. Craziest thing to me is you would think after maintaining a certain level of leanness for so long that your body would recognize it as normal and then your sleep wouldn’t be so messed up. Unfortunately that hasn’t been the case but I’m ready to get out there.

I agree but guess that goes out the window when you under 6% lol
