Extra Anabolics for reverse diet or nah?

After almost 75lbs I’ve decided to end my cut sometime in July.

I planned on reverse dieting out of it to try to keep fat gains slow enough to keep my bodyfat percentage the same. I was thinking maybe 200-250 calorie increases every week or two until I find my maintenance and then from there bump it an extra 200 calories at a time till weight plateaus.

asked my doctor if my IGF or test happened to come back above top range if it would cause an issue with my script because being this lean I’m really curious what I could do just bumping my test up a bit higher. I get to a solid 830 with 60mg 3x a week so I was thinking maybe 100-120mg 3x a week for a smallish cycle.

His response was literally “well rather than up your test and possibly desensitize the androgen receptors why not just run some deca or a little bit of anavar and just keep your test levels in normal range. Use another anabolic to grow”.

Now I’m kinda stuck on what I want to do. Adding some extras in sounds nice (not deca cuz my dick stops working and I look like the Michelin man). I won’t pretend like I wasn’t an idiot and used a lot of shit in the past while my training and diet sucked…so I’m really curious what I’d achieve with my diet locked in and my dedication where it’s at.

But is adding extra anabolics while reversing out of my cut slowly even worth it? Would I just be wasting money running something like dbol before being in a legitimate surplus? I.e. before I even make it to maintenance calories.

Or should I just stick with my original plan of doubling my TRT dosage and seeing what happens? I should also note I’m on 6 units of GH so my cycle would be one of the following

180mg test EW
6iu GH ED
Additional anabolic (Dbol, Tbol or Var or an injectable that isn’t too extreme?)

360mg test EW
6iu GH ED
No extra

Considering you cut on trt and are primed to grow, I say take advantage of it. WHAT you should take would need a bit more context on your history.

Assuming you truly got shredded, it won’t take a lot and food will be the main driver. I’d start with the 360 test and gh, as you will likely have perfectly acceptable health with that. You can add from there as needed as you get further into the push.

I'd keep it simple if I were in your shoes. After a 75 lb cut your body is going to be insanely responsive. I'd reverse the diet, run the moderate test with GH, and see what happens before throwing more compounds into the mix.

If you're progressing on food and a reasonable dose, there's really no rush to add anything else. Save those cards for when progress actually starts to slow. More isn't always better when you're coming off a successful cut.
