Appreciate that brother, I’m still fairly new to this all just doing my research and asking a few of the bigger guys in the gym lol

I’ve been on 200 test a week for 4 months and starting Reta again at .5mg a week for 2 weeks then up to1mg a week, i bought bpc/tb but I’ve never used it before, hoping to get good results to help this old beat up combat body , wish me luck brothers 💪🏼

Welcome to ASF and thank you for your service. Nothing feels better than preparing to retire. Are scripted the 200mg test dose or you just doing that on your own?

I only run the BPC/TB when I have an injury or a nagging strain I need to try to get rid of. Always have a kit of each in the fridge for when I need it.

Reta hits different for people. I stayed at 1mg and bumped to 2mg after 2wks, then Another mg eatery 2wks till I hit 5mg. I have no need to go above 5mg and just get in my required macro for the day on that dose. My mind doesn’t even dream of shit food. I eat my meal prep, shakes, and keep hydrated and it’s been perfect. Been at 5mg for about 4 or 5 months now. Still have no need to bump.

Welcome and good luck bro!

So my VA doctors won’t give me test unless my levels are under 200, so I’m doing it on my own.

Bpc/Tb I’m using because an old airborne knee injury is starting to come back and I’m trying to nip it in the butt before it gets worse.

I was on Reta for 12 weeks and came off to see how my body would adjust back and how long it would take. My hunger is low and I’m dropping weight and barely loosing any strength. I have some mast waiting and maybe some glo pep for my next stage of added sprinkles lol

Yep... good ol' VA. I didn't even bother with them.

If you've got the funds, reach out to a clinic. Otherwise, stay on top of your bloodwork and maybe hire a coach.

I’m glad I got my script before getting out bc I hear how terrible the VA is with this particular issue. Many others also

Yeah man get it before it gets out of control if you can. I always add in GH. At our age and our bodies been thru a lot GH for life is the way to go. Just 2-4IU daily and give it time…it shines the longer you stay on. Been on for several years now and never gonna come off if I can continue to afford it.

I’ve been on and off Reta and even when off GLPs it’s similar for me. I can still manage my weight and cravings. When I need that extra boost Reta is a great tool.

16 years Army here. BPC/TB pretty much changed my life. Totally fixed my shoulder. My knees were beat up from Jumping too, but they are better now. 1mg of BPC and TB every day for me or 3 or 4 months. I switched to Glow and now on Klow. I have dropped back to 500mcg each BPC/TB and whatever the GHK-Cu and KPV end up being

Marine Corps 0331 here. I think I can speak for a lot of us when I say our bodies got put through the wringer. My endocrine system was pretty much destroyed, and I was medically forced out because of it. It took me years to recover to the point I'm at now, and honestly, I don't know if I'll ever be 100% again.

My shoulders are shot too, but that's probably the least of my problems.

@Knarfster I'm probably going to start running Klow or Glow once the budget makes a little more sense. I've been using GH, and I can already tell it's been making a difference, especially alongside whatever Test I'm running.

The VA has been terrible at pretty much everything in my experience (minus the polytrauma, TBI and blind care... they're excellent at that) I do like the current VA Secretary, Doug Collins, but the system itself is buried in bureaucracy and red tape.

I usually go to the VA here in the Bay Area. It's in my hometown and happens to be home to the premier Polytrauma and TBI unit in the country.

I avoid the VA healthcare system as much as possible. Had nothing but bad experiences.

For TRT through the VA system you can avoid the "Two consecutive low tests" requirement. There is a clause in the regulation that allows for patients already on TRT initiated outside the VA system to skip the low T requirement. You just have to get VA lab work on your current dose t showing that you have no adverse effects from that dose.

If you start TRT through a private clinic for 12 months or so, then go to your VA provider and ask to have your TRT covered through VA, they will do it without requiring two consecutive absurdly low results.

It’s unfortunate that separated service members can’t get the care they need and deserve. I hear the horror stories often. I don’t plan to use the va often after I retire but I have addressed most issues and have been treated appropriately now so hopefully the VA can see all my prior care and just stay on course. We shall see.

I’ll have several years of prescribed trt with labs under my belt so I should be good to go shorty as the time comes.

If they want to change shit up on me then I will simply administer it to myself and track my own bloodwork.
