What is needed to identify an individual
Because of privacy laws, ISPs will not release the personal information of their customers to a private party. The only way to connect an IP address to a specific person's name and home address is through the following process:
  1. Law enforcement: A police officer or other law enforcement official must obtain a court order or subpoena.
  2. ISP cooperation: Law enforcement then provides the IP address, along with a specific date and time, to the ISP.
  3. ISP logs: The ISP can search its logs to find which customer was using that particular IP address at the time in question, and then must release that information to law enforcement.

That’s not how they did it. Bro was dumb to use the same name for his YouTube accounts.

Not trying to be a wise ass here, but how can the MODS ever be good with it? Seems like that would be the cardinal rule never to break.

Yeah, not the brightest idea if that is true.

Just thinking though, as bad as it is to dox someone, I mean doesn't anyone worry about whether or not that particular someone will retaliate and how low that person might be willing to go considering IMO that most believe doxing is about the shittiest action that can be taken against someone on the forums?

Well said. You just never know what someone will do. My MO is just always try and be cool, and respectful -right/wrong/in different. Ya just never know. To be fair everyone I’ve interacted with on this forum for a few years has always been cool as fuck. Really does seem like a brotherhood.

btw, I never banned spiny , yet Ive had several interactions with him all of which ended the same way,

I was the one who was having the convo with him when Arnold banned him, Arnold replied and asked me to back off trying, it was a waste if time cause spiny is a dumbfuck yet I always try to find common ground with him and others as I have many times before

anyway I digress, but I never said it should be rule if I dont like someone, now did I...

Doxing is illegal in some places. It's sad when the admins do it and turn a blind eye. Who can we trust?
