So, exciting news.
The gym I've been going to since my last prep opened a new location.
It's 7 miles from the house instead of 4 so still very close.
This gym has AC though, awesome during the summer, and it's FULLY loaded with new Arsenal equipment and a local brand that is a VERY good clone of the Nautilus Xplode series.
There's also a bunch of lifestyle pieces that feel amazing, sauna, locker room with showers, recovery room and a posing room.
It's a gym built by a bodybuilder for bodybuilders because there's literally everything you could want in there.
I touched every piece yesterday while I trained push and I'm beyond excited to run through the entire gym.
Y'day I trained with -
Life fitness pec deck -smoothest pec deck I've used
Arsenal incline press - pretty good, will be a bitch to unrack when I really push the weights here though
Arsenal standing vertical press - sooooo good. I don't think I've ever had a pump training chest after a couple sets on this piece
Arsenal Viking press -not something I'll use very often but it was pretty good.
Arsenal shoulder press - amazing but kinda narrow
Arsenal flat press - this has adjustable arms so I was able to bring them all the way in where they almost touched and press that way. I feel closer grips in chest more so this will get a lot of playtime.
Premier vertical press -feels just line the Nautilus but smoother. It does have the fat grip handles though which will be very hard to use with the wrist
Life fitness seated lateral raise - nothing fancy but smooth
Premier cable fly - kinda grindy? Might have been needing broke in
Life fitness flat press - mother fucker this bitch is heavy. There's a 300lb stack but, it's GOTTA be per side because I couldn't budge it and 135 felt like 270
The incline Xplode clone was the only machine I didn't use I think. Needed to save something for next time
I'll train pull tomorrow which is what I'm most excited about.
Nautilus pull-down and low row
Arsenal chest supported iso row, pullover machine, pull-down, t bar platform and a mid row with d handles.
I've used most of this equipment a time or two but, none of them have ever been available for regular use so I'm beyond pumped to get after them.
So in closing, suck it peasants
