Hello all, I had my blood work completed yesterday, and the results are in. The previous results were taken before I started testosterone replacement therapy (TRT). To provide some background about myself, I am 40 years old, 5'10 197 pounds, with a good muscle mass and a body fat percentage of approximately 12-15%, only drink water, typically a gallon a day, or a little more depending on the day. Currently, I am in a cutting phase, working out six times a week, and I walk 8-10 miles a day while at work. When I received the results, the first thing I checked was my Estradiol (E2) levels. I began TRT on March 6, administering 50 units of Testosterone Cypionate (200 mg/ml) twice weekly, currently pinning on Mondays and Thursdays. I did not inject on Thursday before my blood work, as I ended up getting home much later than expected, so I administered the injection this morning instead. Currently, I do not feel any side effects from the high E2, I was also prescribed anastrozole tablet 1 mg, instructed to only take if I start to feel symptoms (take one-half tablet by mouth twice weekly)..

I'm sure the #1 item will be to lower the TRT dosage.

I'm looking for thoughts or suggestions. I've read posts and seen videos on adding in Primo or mast, but as I read more into mast, doesn't that just mask it?

High test for 200mg a week. You're a good responder.

You could lower the test to 150mg a week and then pull bloods again or just keep as is, add the AI and then retest dialing in E2 at your current dosage.

Thank you! I’ll try lowering the dose to 150mg a week. Going with that option, say, pull bloods in about 3-4 weeks or longer? As for where E2 is currently at, I know it can change daily. Should I take an AI or DIM or just monitor for sides?

4 weeks will be good. I'd wait on AI until you get bloods on 150mg.

I am following Wardamn's advice to lower my dosage and feel good. In a few weeks, I will have bloodwork to check my E2 levels. My TRT clinic recommends taking half a tablet of anastrozole while reducing my dosage from 0.5 to 0.4, and on injection days, I will take the 0.5 tablet. This was today after their consult to discuss bloodwork.

Research advises against AIs because of their potential risks.

I weigh 195 pounds, with a body fat percentage of 20%, lean mass of 150 pounds, and fat mass of 40 pounds, according to a body scan at a friend's gym. (I know these scans aren't always accurate.)

I researched Primo and EQ for lowering E2 and found useful information, but individual responses may vary.

I appreciate all feedback.

It seems that way. I wanted to see their response to my numbers, and they said they could start me on TRT. TRT has greatly improved my mood and determination, but I aim to optimize my levels and manage my E2. I value the insights shared here, as everyone has been helpful. Once I reach my goals, I will likely stop using the clinic due to its cost, while continuing regular bloodwork to ensure balance. Slow and steady.

That's what I did. I was using one of if not the cheapest online clinic but their costs were still 10x what I pay since I switched to going on my own. I use Private MD for labs which are also cheaper then what the clinic charged me for labs.

I completely understand. Yeah, I've been with this clinic since late February. I wanted to start slowly, but they encouraged me to begin my journey. After finding this community and gaining knowledge, I've realized that the sponsors are way better here vs the fees from the clinics.

Good morning, everyone! After reducing my dosage from 200 mg to 150 mg, as suggested (thank you, @Wardamn 🐐💪🏼), I have been on this regimen for 5 weeks without an aromatase inhibitor (AI). When I discussed my results from May 1 with the clinic (screenshots from my initial post), they recommended decreasing TRT to 0.4 mL twice weekly (160mg) and adding anastrozole at a dosage of 0.5 mg twice weekly. However, I opted not to follow that recommendation and simply lowered my dosage to 150 mg. Just to observe how I will respond without the involvement of AI. I had my blood work completed last week and received the results. After various discussions in another post, where it was suggested that I should pull an ultra-sensitive estradiol test (thanks, @Astro95 🐐💪🏼), I am going to share my most recent results to get your input. Again, thank you!
