The Gasman Files

Happy News Years gents!

I’m on call this weekend but I was able to get a session in yesterday. Feeling nice and full, enjoying the bump in carbs.

I saw this video on twitter from Paul Saladino going on about Boston Cream donuts and this shit just sent me off. Imagine going through life so fucking orthorexic you are scared of a donut when you weigh 130 lbs soaking wet. Let me tell you, if you make it to your 80s and 90s you are highly likely to fall, break your hip, never get out of bed again and then get pneumonia. I see it all the time.

Balance is needed, chill the fuck out every once in a while if you live the lifestyle. I certainly don’t want to get that old and be like , oh thank god I didn’t have a Boston cream donut.

Anyways enjoy your new years!!! I’m ready to continue the grind for sure 👊🏼

You have a very nice, balanced physique. Try to keep it that way while you put on meat. Many guys get so wrapped up in gaining size that they lose sight of the balance aspect.

What’s up brothers.

I’ve ran a couple logs based on particular phases. I wanted to run one log going forward regardless on what phase I’m in. Inspired by @Jbswole40 life log. This will be similar to that. Not just training but general life bullshit and also bragging when I eventually win the @SB labs football pool 😂.

Currently about me. Working with a coach and doing a growth phase from a lean starting point. Not looking to add much BF or really go above 10%. Plan is to do a show in the late summer or early fall. So it wouldn’t be advantageous for me to add excess BF at this point.

Current PEDs for this phase are test 300, primo 300, deca 150 and 3 IUs of GH. Going slow on the food because coach wants to see how I respond. Doing carb cycling, lows days are about 1900-2000, training days about 2400-2500 and one high day around 3000 with a cheat meal thrown on top. I continued to lose weight on this even though it was more food than I had been eating. Sitting around 172.

Couple progress pics from this week, probably going classic when the time comes.

Lean and mean! Looking saucy

Absolutely incredible physique.

Geez gasman only 750mg of gear a week. Wow it’s almost like you don’t grams to get success. HUH who woulda thought????

Nice work stud.

100 percent. My coach bumped up the carbs about a week ago and the first thing he told me was that he wouldn't let me add unnecessary fat during this growth phase to set us up for hopefully a smooth prep.

i appreciate that bro. yea technically my second cycle and from everything i've read and heard. once you go to a certain dose you can only go up. seems silly to go straight to a gram right out of the gate 👊

Soooo how many Boston cream donuts do I need to look like that?
hahaha, thats the thing that set me off man. I rarely eat that stuff but i did have one a month ago and it was fucking delicious. like why do this to yourself if you can't enjoy something that's bad for you like 0.1% of your diet. Theres also a local place that had these nutella filled buttercrunch donuts. i definitely grabbed one of those! so two donuts total in the past 6 months

This guy…174 looking like 225… 2024 goals
I gotta get my shit together. Thanks for the motivation!!
my coach says the same thing, dont know if he's blowing smoke up my ass. He's going to get my money either way

Good morning brother.

New year with a new work schedule. Doing three 12 hours shifts. Most weeks the three shifts are all in a row. This is not ideal for training because if I didn’t go before work, it would be 4 lifting days in a row. I decided to bite the bullet and train before work to along for proper recovery.

Had my first 5 am session today and it went well. Got up at 4am, had 1.5 liters of salted water, ate dates and honey and hit my pull session.

Most of the people I saw were regulars I see on the weekend when I go early morning. Felt strong during the session. Progressed on most lifts and was out of there by 615. Came home, had a coffee and cereal with fairlife and a scoop of whey. Out the door and to work on time no problem. I think this will work out well for me.

Have a great day, get out there and crush it.

Yea I was psyching myself out about it. Handled business and it was productive. I’m waiting on some EAAs to throw in my water and I’ll probably add some cyclic dextrin when the carbs get a little higher.
Yeah, definitely consume BCAA/EAA before/during and after session when training mainly fasted. Not a fan of sugar during workouts unless on insulin, but that's between you and Kurt. :)

Not a fasted workout, I’m not a complete psycho 😂. Just no protein before hand

Good morning brothers,

My weight was trending down again after the holiday week. No surprise to me there. Had a call with my coach yesterday and we are going to bump the carbs up big time. His stated goal is to shoot for 1 pound of gain per week. Low days are going to be 200g carbs, training days 600, and one high day at 850. All other variables stay the same.

I put back 600 yesterday and that’s the first time in a while on training day where it felt like a good amount of food to satiate but not overstuffed.

Had the day off and got to the gym at 9. What a glorious sight. Place was practically empty. Hit a great push session with shoulder focus and got a side tricep shot in.

BP is consistently in check. I’ve been checking twice per day (morning and night). Sit anywhere from 105-115/55-70. Hydration has been on point too. I didn’t realize how little water I was really drinking but since salting and using flavoring, I’ve consistently drank 5-6 liters per day.

I hope you all have a great day 🤙🏻
