Well week six and I can definitely tell my TRT is having some effect. I feel more energetic and my sex drive is a lot higher.

I'm experiencing some unusual sensations that I worry may be symptomatic of a potential issue. Full disclosure: it was recommended that I donate blood and I have not yet done so.

My muscles feel "full" all the time kind of like a pump from lifting but for no reason. I also feel like I'm retaining water. In the past I could always tell if had eaten a bunch of salty food by the way my hands feel the next day when I flex them. Now my hands feel like that but for no apparent dietary reason.

I seem to be experiencing premature and/or unusual muscle exhaustion. It feels like certain activities that would normally be aerobic are switching to anaerobic metabolism unnecessarily or too early. Basically I feel some muscle exhaustion and/or soreness doing things that wouldn't normally cause it.

My BP is a little high, but I expect it will settle back down once I get acclimated to the new normal.

I'm wondering if any of this sounds familiar. I'm planning on doing labs next week and looking forward to seeing some numbers.

It does sound consistent with High Blood Pressure tbh...

I'd donate blood, increase water intake..give a few days and observe and see if the symptoms subside.

Good luck.

When I first started cycling, I remember I had the same thing. The pumps were great but my muscular endurance was shit compared to natty, I had to tone down my volume a lot when I switched over from being natural, no idea why.

Once my body adjusted it was no longer an issue and my endurance is better now.

But anyway, your other symptoms could be many things. I would give it some more time and get blood work.

why give blood ? I have heard this to and I do it but what's the deal with that?

Apparently testosterone can raise your hemoglobin and hematocrit. The only reasonable way to lower these numbers is to get rid of some blood.

Total blood count. Elminate some volume as well as some Red Blood cells.

"Immediately after donating a unit of blood, the circulating blood volume is reduced by 9%. This will reduce the blood pressure and make the person more susceptible to fainting, one of the reasons you are escorted and watched closely immediately after donating blood, and why you are fed and forced to drink fluids. The fluid lost by donating blood is replaced in a few hours, however, divers are also prone to dehydration/fainting. "

Remember this is temporary. The body has built in mechanisms to return to whatever balance it has determined.
So if there are outstanding issues, alcohol or drug use, or dietary issues, excess sugars and salts, etc.. the user will see the exact issue return.

But may give the OP insight if this indeed is part of his issue.

200mg Test C weekly. There is some Anastrozole in the Test but I can't remember the exact amount at the moment.

No new lab work until next week.

There's Anastrozole in the Test? Like mixed in the testosterone? Or am I reading that wrong

That is correct. The TRT Clinic that I am using infuses anastrozole into the test. They say it's for convenience and to prevent guys from "forgetting" to take it but I think it is also intended to prevent abuse. When I get my labs done next week I'm going to check my E2 levels and then decide if I need to raise hell about it.

That's crazy, it's absolutely an attempt to prevent abuse. Still obvious ways around that though lol.

Would you mind posting up a pic? I'm sure it's just some compounding lab but still interesting. No idea why I have never heard of that.

Dammit I added those pics on my laptop and now I can't see them on my phone. Can anybody else see them?

Upload them to tinypic.com the attachment function sucks.

Yeah that worked. Thanks for posting up, weird I had never seen that.

You got it to work another way, but...

The forum software is broken. Best method I've found to workaround: Make post normally. Post it. Notice the pics are broken. Immediately edit, delete the pics, re-upload, post. Second time is the charm pretty much always.

TBH the increased sex drive thing is a little annoying lol. I thought I was a grown-ass-man; turns out I just had low T. I can't be fucking all the time; I got shit to do!

Stay away from DHT derivatives then.

I injected HCG for the first time five or six days ago. I injected it into my quad near where I had just injected my Test because that is what the little video that my TRT clinic sent me said to do.

Now I have a knot in my leg. It doesn't really hurt and it isn't red or anything, it's just a hard knot. Having never experienced this before I'm kinda spazzing out worrying if I gave myself an abscess or something. Do I need to worry about this? Is it just a reaction to the water since I have never injected water before?

Nope. When I click the attachments it says Invalid link.

(A) I always do HCG subcutaneously in belly fat. Try that next time.

(B) What is your blood pressure?

(C) What is your hematocrit number?

BP is 135 over 82 - Hematocrit was 51.8 last I checked. That's a little high but my Hematocrit was 48 before I started TRT so it's only a bit higher than normal.

I'm gonna pin it in my stomach next time.

Neither of those numbers are of very much concern. Go donate blood if you are worried about it. No big deal.
