Well, I'm 55 now, and I'm not going to claim I'm everything I once was, but for all time PRs, my PRs were at age 27. At that age, my stats were 6'4", 269lbs, 9% body fat...

Barbell Bench: 410
Db bench: 140
Db Shoulder press: 100
Deadlift: 505
Squat: 500

Now at 55 my current stats are 6'4", 255, 14% body fat, and my numbers are...

Barbell Bench: NA (never do it)
Db bench: 125 (1 rep), 100 (8-10 reps)
Db Shoulder press: 70 (8-10 reps, never do 1 rep max any more)
Deadlift: 275 (3-5 reps, never do 1 rep max any more)
Squat: 275 (5-8 reps, never do 1 rep max any more)

One qualifier, I was never a powerlifter or bodybuilder. All my training was toward fighting. I was a competition kick boxer, full contact Tae Kwon Do fighter, and occasional Tough Man contestant. So my goal was punching and kicking power, not necessarily maximum size or lifts. I still get in the ring and still train to fight, but now I only get in the ring to slap around Millennials and Gen Zs who want to learn how to be men, which is a lot less like fighting, and a lot more like child abuse 🤣

I got this friend who I think has high functioning autism, but he told me he benched 500, squatted 800, and deadlifted 900...in high school of course. He tells the funniest stories. We know he's special, but we love him.
