Toxic masculinity

That's nothing...back in 88 I was a beach manger/lifeguard captain at a beach on lake Erie...the bathrooms were below the sanitary sewer line...flushed toilet water would go into a huge vat with 2 sump pumps...on Saturday ( when the regular city workers are off) the sump pumps became clogged and raw sewage was pouring out onto a platform near the concession stand...I went in, shut off all electricity and climbed into the vat....with shit water up to my chin I used my foot to unclog the sump pumps...I climb out and turn the electricity on and WHOOSH...the tank starts emptying...I walk out of the room over to the outdoor shower covered in SHIT!...people were staring at me...the worst was when on Monday my supervisor never even said thanks...

Damn I have a slight phobia for even public restrooms because of smells etc...this story made me clutch my pearls and take a quick seat while my son took a notebook and fanned me. Hell no

I saw a guy here locally that rescued a dog from a flood control. Guy did a good job but the dog bit the shit out of him.

Dirty, filthy, no good Mexicans. Who they think they saving our red blooded American dogs.
Seriously tho, that was super nice of them. Hats off to them.
P.S.
I worked for a el Salvadoran masonry crew when I still did brick work and was the best crew I ever worked on. Only boss spoke English but once past the language barrier I always felt part of the crew and never like an outsider. Contrary to what you may think he actually paide pretty well too
