Starbucks is Getting into the Protein Drink Game?

I'm interested in what the protein retails for, too bad it wasn't in the article. I'm sure the price is laughable, except for the $8 a pound ground beef soccer Karens.
 
They opened a Starbucks about 10 miles from me in the nearest small town about a month ago.
Haha bad plan on their part. They opened it about 1/2 mile from the local drive through coffee place that’s been there for decades.
The first few days Starbucks was pretty busy but now that everyone realized it’s like 8 bucks for a regular coffee compared to $1.50 at the old place it’s like a ghost town. What did they expect from a town full of broke ass farmers.
Farmers are loyal motherfuckers and cheap. I’m pretty sure some of them are going to the old coffee shop now just to piss off the new big thing in town.
Ive never drank a cup of coffee but I love how these country folk roll.

Brother I’ve honestly never had a cup of coffee or an expresso thing so I’m not sure what would happen. 😂

Although the new Starbucks is right down the street from my gym. I’ve probably only spoken to three people in the past five years of going there. After an expresso I might not be able to shut the fuck up. 😂

Haha Starbucks is no match for that coffee shop. $1.50 for a coffee there sounds pretty cheap..hell the oldtimer coffee shop should drop the price to $1 just for kicks!

Give it a couple months that Starbucks will close.

I think the new tic tok trend is go inside for a big protein drink , take one sip and then slam it on the floor.
 
They’ve waited long enough to grab some market share in this space. Now guys who go with their gf don’t have to feel like b*tches. Well, they still can and will, but seriously, good move by them although they should have seen a market for this existed three yrs ago.
 
So now I can pay $15 to get cheap shitty sugary coffee with probably 10-15g of protein?
