I got in a motorcycle accident

So I got hit by a fucking car... To give some backstory, I've been riding Harleys since I was 15, worked for Harley Davidson for years and it's a big part of my life. I was just getting out of work and I got hit. I won't get into the details because I'm currently in the middle of taking legal action, but I'm not at fault at all. I'll update once a settlement is reached.

Road rash up my side, I hurt both of my ankles and my neck. Fuck. It could be worse right? I can still walk, I'm talking and I'm breathing.

I'll update my recovery progress here.

Bikes are fucking awesome. Definitely get a Harley and not some shitty jap bike. Any idea what you want?
 
So unfortunately im super short it makes me sad now that I want a bike. never really cared lol.

So im 5'1 and I wanted a Harley to start but didnt really see many short people friendly lol

my plan is tho to goto a dealership for Harley and then for the Honda Rebel to see if that fits me.

No worries man, you can build something like this using a Buell Blast donor. Redneckengineering.com I almost built one years ago. And FFS, please don’t buy a rebel.

There's been numerous motorcycle crashes where I am and in fact there was one last week because the city reconfigured the lanes on the road by my place which was enough to cause confusion among car drivers and motorcycle riders.

Get well brother!
 
This was back in the ER. The EMT came back to the ER to visit me. He picked up my shades at the scene of the accident and I asked him if he'd put them on me and take a pic. Shoutout to him for finding my shades in the midst of the wreckage.

They seriously don't. I'm in Massachusetts and around the Boston area, people don't give a fuck. LOTS of illegals around here with licenses too. Massachusetts hands out drivers licenses like candy.

Your shades look in pretty good shape. Bet those were a good well made brand.

Take your time with recovery. Had a friend rush through, signed and settled, only to find some brain trauma down the road. Nearly impossible to go back once the ink is dry.

That said; hope recovery is fast, and complete, and you are back enjoying the road soon.

Fuck dude that sucks . I ride too. Scary thinking about that stuff happening.
