Cost-Effective Protein Powder?

Costco Optimum Nutrition Whey powder is pretty cheap. Taste is fine, but I got tired of it after a few yrs. The Premier Protein whey from Walmart is pretty damn good. They changed the formula since last time I tried it because I had been drinking the Vanilla until it was out of stock on a trip so I grabbed the Chocolate and was pleasantly surprised. My friend says the Sam's Club brand protein is excellent and I'm sure it's close to Costco on price per gram.
 
For me it depends on whether I just want protein, or if I need kind of a meal replacement.

Protein Powder & Pre-mixed shakes, I am currently using Jocko. I get the powder pretty cheap from my gym, because the owner is sponsored by Jocko and gives a huge discount.

Meal replacement or more carbs, I use Animal Meal.

In all honesty, they all taste like shit to me and I pretty much stick with Vanilla, so I can grind up some blueberries with it in my Ninja.

One of my favs for sure. Mixes excellent. I've only have try a few of the flavors and have like all. Vanilla, strawberry, and fruity pebbles(sweet).

I got these 3 i rotate through... when finished i think I'm just going back to Optimum Nutrition only... does the job plus the vanilla rtds taste like cereal milk lol1000001397.jpg

I'm about half way through my first 5lb tub of Dymatize vanilla. I normally buy Optimum Nutrition 5lb tubs of french vanilla, which I think tastes better, but they keep raising their prices. I'll be sticking with the Dymatize from now on as my go to and try others as they come up for sale on Supplementhunt. As 01Dragonslayer says, it mixes easily (I use water) and tastes decent.

Hopefully you understand you bought weight gainer, not protein powder.
Serving size is 2 scoops 137 grams - 88 g carbs - 3g fat - 35g protein = 11 grams
@Syntha Claus explained it on page 1 for protein powder, I cut down his response, go back to read the whole thing.

The serving size is 35 grams, with the net protein being the standard 25 grams. That means there is 10 grams of shit in there.
The other one mentioned is Jacked. Same thing, 34 equals 25.
I have seen brand as high as 37 gram scoop, with that 25g net. Total garbage. Blows my mind anyone would eat this shit.

The good ones are as small as 30 grams with 27 grams net protein, like Diesel, which is grass fed from New Zealand cows. Sweetened with stevia and not sucralose.
The need to put a few things in there to prevent caking and other reasons, but the less the better.

RedCon has been 50% off over a month now. I bought a bunch of MRae Lite. Not a fan of the company but that price…they got me.

I just checked damn that's a good price. I understand not being a fan of the company... But for that price it's quite a good deal imo... The vanilla i like quite a bit

That's not near as much protein as I would like to be intaking, although it's convenient as a quick meal before work.

I have no idea. I wouldn't buy whey from them anyway. Too many other, good vendors.

I hadn't gotten paid at that time, but I am going to order some decent whey this Friday. Still trying to decide on what I'm going to buy.

Any recommendations for tendon support?
 
Maybe the Alpha Prime Marine collagen or any of their other collagen products. They have another with carnitine. All the normal joint support stuff is sold out at the moment.

Alpha Prime isolate is cheap. The Allmax protein is $40 for five pounds but a blend. They have two products listed now. Great company though. Those are the only two I would buy.

What other stuff would I buy to make it up to free shipping?
Core PUMP preworkout and maybe even FURY V.2, use one scoop of each.
AP $7 glutamine
Allmax carnitine at $10/bottle
Bloom Greens and superfoods.

You missed out on the AG1 greens I guess.
All those Core pre's are stupid cheap for having all the patented ingredients.

pump and fury are great.
I would pick some up but i had recently gotten a bunch of the redcon1 which is fine for now.
hopefully some available in a few weeks or so.

I bought five of each even though I already have two Aussie recipe FURY I got from Core before for $13.
I don’t need them but since I couldn’t get more PUDDN, why not?
I also bought 10 AG1.
