I know the title is a little odd and I know part of it is my own mental head fuck that’s going on but I’m three weeks into a fertility protocol/PCT from a 500 mg test cycle. I was on TRT for the last 15 years and decided to do a 12 week blast before coming off and while I dropped about 20 pounds during the cut, I’ve literally doubled my calories and I’m still dropping weight.
Protein is high, I keep increasing my carbs and I’m down 6 pounds in three weeks. Strength is exactly the same, my energy levels are actually higher, mood sleep everything is great and actually better than it was on cycle, but my brain keeps telling me something is wrong if I’m now able to drop weight eating 3500 cal when I struggle to drop weight at 1700 cal. Just how much glycogen can your body store while on gear versus off gear? I had a forum member tell me that it’s most likely elevated free testosterone that’s allowing me to maintain my strength and drop wait but I’m just struggling to accept that fact I guess? For anyone who lost size or weight on PCT, how many weeks did that go on for before it slowed down?
