Gabapentin’s Growing Reach: Why Doctors Are Prescribing It for So Many Different Cond

No. 3 times a day. 900mg total.
I have degenerative disc disease, spondylitis, scoliosis, fibromyalgia, GERD, and the kitchen sink! 🤣
Hopefully, not ALS which my neurologist referred me to a counselor for..
No more doctors!
damn, I thought 300mg daily was the max dose. even, with my insurance for 30 days @ 300mg daily costs me $120/bottle.

Holy moly! Mine is a few dollars.
You must got a good source...or good insurance. I may soon be on the hunt for a script for this as I have degenerative disk disease that's slowly and inexorably progressing so will eventually hit the massive wall of pain.

I might have to look into this. My back has been giving me fits and getting slowly worse for the last 3-4 years. Bulging discs, shrinking discs, stenosis, osteoporosis, osteoarthritis and a compression fracture now. Doc hasn't used the term degenerative as of yet. Not verified but I'm guessing a pinched nerve as well. Stings and burns here and there. Not sure. If gabapentin can help I'll damn well use it. I asked about Pregabalin but the doc said it probably wouldn't help. I don't have fibromyalgia. I hope it helps yall. 🙏
