The USPS is the most inefficient, pathetic, joke of a delivery service available. I stopped using them years ago after they "lost" (stole) every single Christmas card with cash inside that I sent to relatives. Even mailed them inside the Post Office and they still manged to "lose" (steal) all of them. Never even got a response from the complaint I filed. I don't understand why they send something mailed from the South and addressed to the South, all the way to a Canada border state where it drifts around in their system for several days before finally heading back South. No wonder they lose money every year. Their tracking service is also a waste of time. Their motto should be "you will get it when you get it if we don't lose it first". Oh well, end of rant. I feel much better.
 
My sister once got 20 bucks sent to her in a birthday card. USPS opened the card, took the cash then wrote her a check for like $19 and some change because there wasn’t enough postage on the envelope. This was like 25 years ago and ever since I have done everything I can to avoid shipping things through usps

Wait what? Actually?

That's why it's best to use postal services, you can use postal centers versus USPS and have letters etc sent out via pdf, or whatever else.

lol yea okay. Cuz my first concern when before the internet was even mainstream was to tak a photocopy of the check in case some random on ASF doubted me😂

As far as I’m aware there was usps, FedEx and ups at that point and time. There weren’t other options in the early 90s.


Edit: sorry buff bagwell was right. I was wrong. It was a money order that usps put back in her card and not a check. USPS does money orders not checks 😂

not talking about you. its a statement in general. You can be whoever you want on the internet. you can say whatever you want on the internet. nothing requires any proof. You clearly dont know who codem is.
 
I guess Ive been lucky using USPS. I almost exclusively use them for buying and selling on Ebay and had maybe one issue in the last 20+ years. I also would never send cash in an envelope.
 
My biggest complaint is Priority mailing, always comes days late. I wish we could have a choice on how to mail and not pay extra for something that doesn’t happen.

Bro you have no idea how unorganized this place is, nobody knows whats going on, you got 3-4 people saying different things, packages dont get scanned, this place is very very unorganized
 
i have had very few problems with usps and compared with ups and amazon who fucks up every other order somehow--usps has come a long way in past 7-8 years

I've had random shit completely disappear, like id received 6 or 7 packages ordered but the 8th one somehow got stuck and never made it.

there could be 1 or 2 reasons for this. You are up for felony charges and has the usps computer pinged and they just checking all your shit for illegal stuff. OR the rubber penis's you ordered werent properly wrapped and the ladies in the post office are keeping for themselves

Some of my orders go to my city and then to the capital then back to my city then back to me, super suspect and the box always looked damaged after.

This doesn't happen with any gear, but it's happened with other things.

I think they have to process through the central hub or something, they didn't use to do that idk.
