Funny story I heard yesterday…

We had a wicked storm that washed away a neighborhood and a whole Chevy dealership. Tropical Storm Lydia.

A guy I know was on the roof of his bus in a trailer park, water a foot from the roofline. His girlfriend and father (holding a dog) were clinging to a coconut tree trying to not get blown/ washed away. All the while this dude was bawling like a baby screaming “We are all going to dieeeeeeee…!”

When the storm passed, the chick told him “Get away from me. You are not a man. Don’t even look at me. I could never, ever be touched by you again.”
My neighbor told me this story as told by that very woman.

Well you're probably right, USAPL broke off from IPF after noncompliance with drug testing. Now most of the top "natty" lifters are in IPF and the top not natty lifters are in WRPF.

I was being a lot more facetious than serious, but really nobody cares about the usapl or ipf. wrpf is also no more now.

The only people who actually care anything about powerlifting are the people who do powerlifting.

If we're being serious and talking about actual known standards being enforced and real competition then its a short list in the United States of USPA and PLU (formerly WRPF). Internationally the big IPF meets like Sheffield Classic, IPL, and probably ABS. Honorable mention for ProRaw for the aussie lifters.

Then his buddy, playing tough, tried to shoulder-check Mike as he walked by, so he got a taste too. There's a few big dudes around too, Mike must be hella big in real life because nobody wanted none.

yeah there’s many things to talk about with this but at the end of the day all I can say is this is the silly world we live in.

No ppl should not go around putting hands on other ppl.

That’s the downside to being a pro fighter. Some asshole will fuck with you cause they either think you won’t hit them cause they sue or they will take the hit and sue and unfairly the court holds it against you and they started it to purposely try to sue you.
