What’s everyone’s favorite protein powder? Shit isn’t getting any cheaper that’s for sure… I usually stick to IsoPure or Syntha 6. What’s everyone using or do you guys just go for which ever has a better deal going? When do you guys throw in a mass gainer or more whey?

I've used the full gamut of protein powder. Mutant, Rule 1, Dymatize various kinds, MHP Probolic, etc etc. All were good and did the trick.

Currently I'm using New World Nutritionals whey isolate I got off eBay. It's lighter on flavor but mixes very well. Thanks to maxmuscle I use a recipe he posted on his log for making my shakes. A splash of Torani sugar free hazelnut or French vanilla flavor with some heavy whipped cream to thicken it up. Absolutely delicious and delightful shake experience.

As a professional fitness trainer, I believe that the best protein powder for you is the one that fits your specific goals, dietary restrictions, and budget. While IsoPure and Syntha 6 are both popular choices, there are many other high-quality protein powders on the market. It's important to read labels and choose a powder that meets your nutritional needs, such as whey isolate or casein for faster or slower digestion.

Mass gainers can be useful for those looking to increase calorie and protein intake for muscle gain, but it's important to choose a product with quality ingredients and avoid excessive added sugars. In some cases, adding more whole foods to your diet may be a more sustainable option.

It's also important to note that supplements like protein powder are not a replacement for a well-rounded diet. Arthrofort can help support joint health, but the best way to maintain overall health and fitness is through a balanced diet, regular exercise, and adequate rest and recovery.

I like Dymatize ISO 100 for a hydrolysated stuff. My usual product now is Allmax IsoNatural unflavored. No bullshit, minimum added stuff. You get 27g of isolate protein in a 29g scoop. No other comes close. Goes into solution nicely too.

it's important to choose a protein powder that fits your individual needs and goals. While Dymatize ISO 100 and Allmax IsoNatural are both good options, it's also worth considering products that include additional ingredients to support joint health, such as Arthrofort. This supplement includes collagen, glucosamine, and chondroitin to support joint mobility and reduce inflammation. When choosing a protein powder, prioritize quality ingredients and minimal additives, and consider additional supplements to support your overall health and fitness goals.

Nitro muscle tech cinnamon bunn . I'm addicted lol

I buy what ever i can get that is the cheapest with the quality i want. Is takes me less the a minute to down a quart of protein drink so i don't worry to much about flavor.

As a professional janitor who unclogs many shitters, I think if a person wants a protein powder, they should buy a protein powder, not relying on some “all-in-one” product that does everything. Anything that does more than one function usually doesn’t do any of them better than a single purpose item.
This is why, as a professional shade tree mechanic, I own a pimped out tool chest and not a Swiss Army knife.

High Whey from Revolution Nutrition have been my go to for the last years. It tastes good, decent nutritional facts/quality and if you catch a deal you get a lot for your money.

The Redcon1 MRE also has my vote.
Best tasting stuff I've ever tried.
Doesn't give me the shits either.
They make a vegan plant-based protein powder called 'Green Beret' that is surprisingly affordable and effective.
Not as good tasting as the MRE tho.

I mix Leucine/BCAA/EAA/Glutamine/Creatine all together in my water jugs and sip on it daily. I only use truenutrition for my protein powder. Other than that I eat lots of meat and eggs.

How’s True Nutrition these days? Heard that the owner got arrested a few years ago and that the quality went down so I never used them after that.

Quality is still the same. Not sure where that's coming from. Never heard anything about Trudel getting arrested either.

ive been using them for over a year now. I like the product, i go with 100% egg white protein.

Steak. Imo, real food is always superior to protein powder.
Haha, it’s always one of these comments in a protein powder thread 😂 Yes, of course we know that real food is superior but sometimes it’s good to have protein powder to supplement an already good diet, to me it’s easier to stay on track with powder.

Thanks for reminding us about something we already knew… 🙄

I like just about any of the MyProtein products. I wait for them to have a sale which they often do and I’ll stock up on 10-20 pounds of it.

All these motherfuckers always saying to "just eat real food". Post your pics man. Real food at 4,000-6,000 calories per day. Between eating and shitting, where is there time for the gym? I couldn't do it without shakes. I guess I am not doing it right.
