Sounds like a subq leak like Johnny mentioned. 1/2 works great, never had leaks. 5/8s is just slightly longer and much better than 1” imo where you don’t need to go that deep. If you NEED 1” or 1.5 in the delt you need to put the Doritos down lmao

Unless they 15% bodyfat n lower. Which very few on here actually are.

You’ll know if it’s sub q, it’ll lump up. I’ve seen your updates, I don’t see why you can’t get away with 1/2 in the delt.

I pinned my left quad this morning sitting on the toilet in the top, middle of the quad with a 27 gauge 1/2” slin pin full of 50mg test prop and 50mg deca. No pip. Smooth as butter!

Exactly lol you have to have a substantial amount of bf in an area for 1/2 to not work, even then can try 5/8, I like 5/8 due to being able to use a 25g and push oil faster, also a bit more depth if you need it, but not too much. Glutes are definitely chunky so 1” for sure. Johnny a unit, definitely don’t need 1” everywhere.

That's how I done it so that I know just where to go. Sometimes I pin mid thigh but that's a dicey spot as get a charley horse right after which kills leg day.

A great alternative to 1” if not wanting to go to 1/2 is 5/8s. I switched from 27 1/2 on lats as it would take quite a while to push 3cc. 25g 5/8s and it’s a few seconds. The BDs are great.
Its what I use... no waiting 3 min to fire a CC through a 27/28g.
I'll even throw on a 3ml barrel and do 2cc's
 
1” 27ga is what I use, I only do thighs…. Can say I’ve hit nerves more than I’d like to but when I don’t, it’s smooth easy and simple
 
How many of you guys regularly pin the quads? I Switch between delts, glutes and traps but have been thinking about trying some new spots. Any advice is greatly appreciated ?
A quad injection is always uncomfortable for me. Just a personal thing. They just make my skin crawl....just me
 
I pin my Test C in the quads. Alternate legs on Wednesday and Sunday evenings. No issues.

That’s just it. If the carrier oil is MCT you can get it through a 31 gauge insulin pin. A 27 gauge flows like butter. Labs that still use GSO, cotton seed oil, sesame seed oil, etc., there’s no way you’re getting away using a smaller gauge slin pin without sitting there for several minutes.
 
You gonna hit leg day after quad injection? ? JK I don't think I could ever pin quads.

I can't believe I'm the same a Johnny (though less gay) -- I pin 27 x 1inch quads once a week and 27 x 1in VGs the other time each week. Virgin muscles issues were an issue at first, but I haven't had a problem since. And as others have pointed out, it's higher than you think.

Don’t know why you had to assume I’m gay and spell my name wrong whilst doing it. It’s just what I do. Pin my quads 2x a week and get on with my life. Left on mon and right on thurs. I’m only doing it for trt as well unless I decide to do something else

I pin quads 3x a week. I personally prefer quads over all else. Just make sure you don’t knick a vein. I normally have bright ass light over me so I can see all my veins to be on the cautious side.

It’s actually primarily 25x1

I used to use 27s a lot but they bendy as hell.

I used to pin quads but then had a bad shot.

Recently bought some more 27s I might use on pecs.
 
Tried quads a few times. That ONE bad time put an end to that. Had a lump for a week. Glutes, VG, delts mainly. Maybe just me but, the calf idea makes my skin crawl. ?
