Godfather movies also sucked major ass...
Star Wars was totally awesome when it came out. I've generally always enjoyed the books better than the movie to some degree however this one was an exception.
The only problem I have now is why did I want to whip the weasel to Princess Leia? Kind of disgusted with myself about that. The hair? Wow. It's a no go.
I never kept up with the series but I guess they eventually turned her into a sexy slave. Now that one I'd put the boots to. Repeatedly. Sex and violence sells!

The Rocky series is awesome except Rocky 5 which sucked. Clubber Lang, Ivan Drago, Apollo Creed are great foes. Rocky Balboa was great except the opponent, who was skinny/fat. But the story was very well done.
The amazing thing about the Rocky movies is that you can watch them 100 times and still get sucked in. The training montage scenes have never been topped to this day. The music: awesome. The fights: awesome. Sylvester Stallone: awesome.
The only series close to the Rocky series: is the Bourne movies.
