Ribeye is my favorite, man, with butter too.. Good God, help me!

When my wife fixes my rid-eye she will pan sear it and then bakes it in the over with blue cheese and panko. Never though I would like a stark any other way than the grill but damn. She has this thing down. Always medium rare just like I like it. I really don’t deserve her.

I don't see salmon mentioned...that's mine. Publix (grocery store in the South) sells these salmon pinwheels that are wrapped around crab meat, those are delicious. Not a big fan of white fish but salmon (#1) and tuna (#2) are delicious.
Snakehead fish is the best fish I've had, unless you count swordfish lol

Chicken, beef, shrimp and fish. Last night was oven baked cod. Not the most flavorful fish, but it's super easy to prepare

My wife had her gallbladder removed last week, so I'm doing a lot more low fat meals. Cod has literally zero fat. And the best part, clean up is non-existent. Just scrunch up the pan and toss it

My buddy is a fisherman, and when he goes out on trips he comes back and he gives me bags of monkfish.
My brother have you ever had monkfish?
It's like white steak, it's not flaky at all.
It's a lot like cod, very similar. Cod is amazing!
Like you said the cleanup is almost non-existing, you just wipe the nonstick pan, or the skillet whatever you use..

My dude, it's phenomenal.
It's just a big thick white fish. It is not flaky at all, and when you flip it it doesn't break apart. The portions I get are actually ridiculously big, sometimes it's just too much white fish to eat in one sitting.
Next time I get some I'll let you know, he gives me a bag of them, I'll send a few your way on dry ice. He gives me his homemade spice mix but he doesn't tell me what he uses. :(

Ohhh I'm there a lot. I'm in the butt hole of Texas but always come to your state for plant work and turnarounds. I would live there but Texas was just so much more conservative lol I'm originally from Mississippi.

Love a good tomahawk ribeye but lately I’ve been craving seafood gumbo. With crawfish, shrimp, okra, all of it. It’s gumbo season somewhere.
