I’m gonna go with breakfast because it dictates my workout and how I start my day. If I start my day like shit then it usually ends up being shit. Then my last meal because on tren it determines if I wake up in a pool of sweat or not lol.

I believe the best meal is post workout when carbs become anabolic, just my 2 cents.

I'm a get up and go person..
Always, skipping Breakfast..
That's the origin of the meaning of Break..Fast..!!
Around 10 or 11am...I'm totally out of Energy..
This run I really put focus on Nutrition..
First Correction..
A solid, carb loaded..Breakfast.!

Depends on how you define "important" in this context. In my mind, each meal is nearly equally important as they all serve a purpose. The one meal I guess I would elevate to most important would probably be my first meal - breakfast. Purely because I've gone 7+ hours without eating prior.

On the flip side, I could argue my last meal of the day is also the most important, since it has to be slow digesting and sustain me for several hours while I'm asleep. Otherwise, I'd wake up in the middle of the night absolutely ravenous and ruin the quality of my sleep.

The meal I enjoy the most is post workout . I go straight from work to gym and that ends up being 4 hours without food. I probably get more protein in my evening meals.

Pre workout and post workout

These two meals make a huge difference in performance and in how I feel after the workout. I prefer a ground chicken or turkey meat with potatoes and grated cheese before my workout and after I have my shake/ banana post workout I love a good steak a while later.

What are some of you guys goto meals ? With prices getting higher we should start sharing some cash saving ideas for food.

Post workout but if you don’t have a good amount of fuel pre workout than you are just robbing Peter to pay Paul. Your body eating hard earned muscle to fuel your workout is backwards and terrible for progress.

Pre-workout
I eat chicken tenderloins prior-about 1.5-2hrs pre workout and a lil smoothie with V8 Beet juice with ginger and turmeric mixed with 2 tablespoons of pure lemon juice, 1 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar and a scoop off collagen peptides protein powder.

Post-workout
Either chicken, turkey burger, or fish with about 5 cups of broccoli and a 2 cups riced cauliflower and sweet potato

So 1170g Protein, 585g Carbs, 86g Fats.

How in the fuck are you eating 1200g of protein? That would be like 10lbs of chicken breast every day!

I'm 300lbs myself, and no where at all close to this.

I like these answers, they show us that we are all different from each other, at the least several variables
