Tilapia and cod mix
Looks good with those sweet potatoes! My oldest son went on a deep sea charter last weekend and brought home some Barracuda fillets. We grilled some and fried some on Monday. Decent white fleshed fish so not bad. The thicker areas were a lil but fishy but not overpowering.

I like salmon, trout, tuna, tilapia, perch, crappie, bluegill, walleye, and northern pike. I used to catch them all except for tuna and tilapia back home where I grew up in upstate NY. My favorite was fried haddock dinners back home. Omg so good! But the other fish I’d catch and eat some so fresh we would ice fish, take our morning catch and fillet them on the ice. We would bring oil, fish fry, and a pan with propane heaters, some potato buns and have some fresh fried fish sandwiches out there for lunch.

Went 45 miles offshore and drug some grouper off the bottom. Got two nice gags and pulled some cobia in the boat as well. Caught a ton of red snapper but they are not open so over the side they went. So it is going to be fresh fish for the next few days. Going to fish to the Bahamas in two weeks and stay the night so we can fish back the next day. That will be tuna time.

It kills me to throw back 30lb red snapper a few times each trip. I'm about to fill our motor bracket with ice and fillet them real quick, throw the fillets in the motor bracket on ice lol. Grouper is damn good eating though! Sounds like a good day!

For real! For being as endangered as they say they are it is really hard to not catch them. The weight barely has time to bounce of the bottom before the croaker is getting hit. We were pulling some huge mature fish too. When season was open we limited out within an hour. They have got to open them up a little more.
