What is the most efficient way to lower high red blood cell count

Beside the obvious of quit taking roids which is not going to happen. Donating blood every 8 weeks. Is there another option that can remove more than a blood donation. I googled it and got everything but the answer to my question.

double red donation.. but then you have a longer waiting period before they let you donate again.

life south and Red Cross do not cross reference one another here in the south. so I give the double red every 8 weeks. Instead of waiting 16 weeks. Just try and find another blood center that don’t cross ref one another.
