Wesley VS Harrys

I decided to review this brand for u guys. They sell online normally so I didn't buy bc God forbid a 4 minute order takes too long lol

So anyways I was at Target and they carry them now. 1 razor and 2 extra blade. $9.99 I bought indigo blue bc blue is the color of the ocean
1f30a.png

Anyways this razor is legit. It cuts as smooth as any razor I've used, but I didn't have one single cut. Usually after shaving I have 3-4 cuts. The day later I have about 1/2 of the normal facial hair

So I'm gonna give this 5 stars. For the Anabolic bodybuilder who has to shave all the time , consider it.

I don't get a dime to make this review btw. I wish I did.

Harry's overall are decent blades. I get 5-6 head shaves with them before changing blades. Which is on par with every other blade manufacturer. For me using on my face they suck. I get cut up and doesn't shave as well. No matter how careful I am. I do use a different razor for my face and head. The shave gel is good for my head. But does clog up the blades more than say the cremo I normally use.

The best razor blades I've used are the Schick quattro titanium blades. I get tons of use out of each cartridge.

Side note I prefer the orange handles lol

3 keys to make a razor perform and last for many shaves
1. shave after a hot shower, your hair is softer.
2. use fractionated coconut oil with a very small amount of water as a lubricant on your face, this is just my preference for a clean shave and moisturizer at the same time
3. after you rinse the hair off your razor, blow the water off the blade since that is what ruins the edge

I agree with you though, harrys is a decent razor on the cheap, especially if you dont want to support gillette after the anti masculine male campaign

Gillette lost my business as their cartridges are so damned expensive. $43 for like 10...fuck that!!!

ive done step 1 and 3 all my shaving life lol... Great advice! Im too lazy to try the coconut oil ... I’m too lazy to shave my face actually ... maybe sometime when I wanna freak the kids and wife out I’ll cut the beard off and scare the crap outta them... I’ll be sure to try the coconut oil treatment for a smooth baby face shave.

I still use Norelco. Takes a while to get used to if you have been using shaving cream and a razor but it works. Sometimes takes a long fucking time get a good shave in. Best not to let hair on face grow longer than 2 days, then no real issues.

I've been using the Harry's razors for a while. The Gillette ones started getting crappy and expensive so switched to dollar shave club. They were great, then eventually went the way of Gillette. Uneven blades, bad razor burn, etc. Switched to Harry's. Best shave for the price imo.

I shave after the shower and use beard oil. Great close shave. The rear edge blade isn't as good as the others but it's worth it.

Now I gotta find a good new body hair trimmer because my old one is taking a shit. Looking hard at the cordless Peanut. Not sure what I'm gonna go with though

wife got me this ... babyliss pro foil shaver.... it’s as close as a razor on my upper arms/shoulders. Just can’t let it grow out too long or it won’t cut at all.. every third day and it’s worth the price. She gets good deals on hair shit tho. I think it was like 80 bucks originally. Works on the head too, again, if you don’t let it grow out much.

Interesting. I usually let mine grow for a few days so I use regular clippers. I'll check it out though!

F Harry’s. They are SJW’s that bail criminals out of jail as their mission of justice. Right on the website bro. Razors don’t need 6 blades either. 3 does me great or an old school safety razor if I got time.

I went to using an old school safety razor years ago. I got tired of paying $5 for a cartridge of triple blades. It takes a little getting used to but now it's easy. I get Feather brand blades for abut $0.35 each and they are sharp as shit. It takes an extra 5 minutes using the safety razor and shave soap but so worth it. The brand of shave soap is by RazoRock and consistently gets high ratings. One pack of razors and one jar of shave soap last months.

I remember the old Wilkinson blades were pretty darn sharp as well.

I didn't know that. Guess I'm done with them

I was thinking about trying this. I'll have to learn about the technique before I try though lol

I had to stop using Harry's razors. Those are some dull mf'ers. They feel like they are pulling the damn hair out instead of shaving it.

Dollar shave club has some good razors.

Not bad. Cheap. Minor skill level. 2 times and you got it.

Yeah I bought a sample pack of blades when I first started. There are definitely different levels of sharp. The feather are supposed to be one of the sharpest. Wilkinson makes a good one as well.

It's not to bad of a learning curve. The biggest difference for me is that with your traditional mach 3 or whatever gillette has you can press those razors against your face fairly hard without nicking or cutting yourself. With a safety razor it's less pressure and just consistent smooth straight strokes. Also make sure you get a good shave soap. There are some cheap ones that don't have the good lubricants in them. I highly recommend going to RazRock.com and buying one of theirs. They are pretty cheap average price is $7 or so and one container will last a while. Honestly a decent razor/brush kit to start is $30-$40 and you will be off to the races.

I swear i tried these, even had them ship new blades, and they seemed rough af. I can't stand anything but Gillett or schick, or a good double razor. I figure it's my face better spend a little more and not have irritation or red spots.

Didn't know Harry's supported those type of causes......that's too bad. Love their razors though, they work great. But I don't like how my money goes to support that garbage.

I've been using the Harry's razors for a couple years and love em. I didn't know all the political crap though so it's kinda shitty. EVERYTHING these days turns political though so it's not surprising.

I would go back to safety razors but, I can't shave my head with them.... Guess I'll start looking for another brand.

I despise cancel culture but, I will not hesitate to stop using a service if I don't believe in their values.

We recently changed vets after going to the same one for 7 years when they wouldn't budge on masks in the office for clients. I had to go in to muzzle my older pit while doing curbside service when the tech who I have known for years asked to me come in real quick and the front desk lady pitched a fit when she saw I wasn't wearing a mask.

I asked for my dogs records right then and we started going to another one the next visit. The vet who owns the clinic we were going to actually called and asked me why I was moving the dogs and I told her why. She understood why even though she was the one who set the mandate and we had a good civil conversation. No arguing, just a talk. It doesn't have to be endless "motherfuckers" in a disagreement unlike what most of society thinks these days.

awesome commercial. Has anyone heard of Jeremy's Razors
Yeah, I bought the Founder's kit (pre-order) to support the anti-Harry's movement.

Shit's still made in China, so it's not super American - but I agree with Jeremy's politics more than Harry's

Anyone here recommend a good head shaver, sort of like this style?

81Dfn0+NDKS._AC_SS130_.jpg

Ive always just used the normal Wahl trimmers w/out an adapter on the end, but pretty dull now and it takes a while.
Gotta be a better way (for the head).

I had a skull shaver and it worked really well at first...then the blades got dull, hard to clean, I dropped it and it broke.

I won't buy it again bc the cost is high and imo u have to replace the blades pretty quick.

I dropped it multiple times bc the grip is very slick.

But brand new out of the box I do admit it's super effective and fast.

My lady got me this. The first time I used it on very little stubble it worked great. So the 2nd time out I used it again it took twice as long as the first time with the same stubble growth. I went back to using a razor first. Then finish off with this. I can shave my head with a razor in no time and do a better job than this does. Just my experience
